It might sound like a far-off and ridiculous concept today, but America’s southern border is actually a powder keg with the potential to explode. Illegal immigration is only one problem that needs to be dealt with; there is also the casual operations of drug cartels with paramilitary training. These same cartels essentially own most of the Mexican government and law enforcement and they have recently got their hands on some disturbing military technology.
In the next issue of the Wild Bunch I will discuss my research on cartel capabilities, the Mexican military’s capabilities and what might happen if the Trump Administration sends troops into Mexico to eliminate the cartel presence. Americans living near the border are not the only people that need to worry. A war with cartels means a war with the Mexican government and preppers need to keep in mind the dangers such an event would entail.
