It’s summer and most Americans are getting ready to celebrate Independence Day. Here at Alt-Market we talk often of independence and what that means. Yes, in some ways it’s a relative ideal because there’s a matter of logistics and relationships; we all depend on someone, we just have to make sure the people we depend on believe in independence as we do.
This is why Alt-Market has never used Google Ads or any other such corporate mechanism for creating revenues on the website. And frankly, during the attempted pandemic takeover I was glad I didn’t. Far too many alternative media sites and liberty commentators saw their ad revenues disappear in a puff of smoke simply because their content gave facts and evidence contrary to the Big Tech and government narrative on covid. Big Tech ad money was used as leverage, a way to threaten or silence the alternative media.
Alt-Market never had that problem. We were beholden to no corporation because we depend on YOU, the readers, to keep the site going. And since you believe in freedom like I believe in freedom, it all works out in the end.
Why support Alt-Market? There are thousands of alternative media sites out there along with thousand of YouTube channels, but I’ve noticed that very few of them are pursuing in-depth analysis these days and most of them focus on a single niche subject (like prepping). Alt-Market covers almost every economic, social and political issue imaginable and there’s an extensive catalog of preparedness information as well. Some of my favorite websites from the past that used this model are now gone, or, they have changed. Alt-Market is one of the few that remains.

No, usually not. If there’s a banner ad on the site it’s a direct one-time deal with the company. Usually they buy the space for 6 months or more. If I mention a product in an article, it’s just something I like. I don’t get paid for any endorsements.

Brandon, on a personal note, I became familiar with your articles about ten years ago on an alternative French-language news website. At the time, there weren’t many of them.
I appreciate the accuracy of your analyses, your extensive knowledge of History, the different topics you’ve dealt with (economics, society, geopolitics, etc.) but also your intellectual honesty and the fact that you proposed solutions or possible solutions. For me, apart from the rare authors who write about “survivalism”, this is unprecedented. And also, I haven’t forgotten your humility.
You’re more reliable than the Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II..!
