ESG Dystopia: Why Corporations Are Doubling Down On Woke Even As They Lose Billions

June 9, 2023

It’s been a bloodbath for the majority of companies that go overtly woke in the new era of American consumer rebellion, and the establishment is not happy. Corporations like Disney, Anheuser-Busch and Target are plunging in profits and losing billions in market cap after pledging fealty to the trans agenda. In particular, the public is setting out to make examples of institutions that support trans indoctrination of children. Simply put, a line in the sand has been crossed.

With conservative boycotts far more effective than leftist boycotts ever were, the movement makes evident that the political left is a paper tiger and that conservatives and independents have the real majority power in the US.  In response, the media is claiming that this movement is a form of “economic terrorism.” That is to say, if you refuse to support the woke hive mind with your wallet, you should be considered domestic enemy.

It took long enough, but average Americans are finally engaging in a culture war which was started years ago, not so much by the political left, but by globalist institutions using leftist activists as enforcers and saboteurs. The key issue that very few people talk about is that activist groups would have NO POWER whatsoever if it weren’t for the unprecedented backing they receive from governments, non-profits, think-tanks and the corporate world. And, a lot of this support has been injected through ESG-style financing as well as DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) programs.

ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) is becoming a well known term and is, at bottom, a form of “impact investing” – Meaning, major lenders such as Blackrock or Carlyle Group, or think-tanks like the Ford Foundation, seek to control societal outcomes using lending as leverage. Watch the video HERE featuring the Ford Foundation’s head of “mission investments” to get a basic understanding of what ESG really is:  Social engineering.

In the past, lenders would base their financing standards on good credit scores and the likelihood of return on investment. If you had a business with a history of solid returns and worthy collateral then you would probably get whatever loans you needed. Today, however, lenders are trying to set political and ideological terms for companies seeking to obtain financing. You must signal your virtue to get access to money, and this includes supporting climate and carbon initiatives, reorganizing your labor based on diversity and inclusion rules, even promoting LGBT activism might be a big factor in your next infusion of cash.

The higher your ESG score, the more likely it is that you will qualify for access to debt. This is part of the reason why a large array of corporations are increasingly jumping on the “pride month” bandwagon. All they have to do is slap some rainbows on some products or commercials or publicly defend the trans grooming of children and suddenly they are golden for another year of subsidized funds.

But what happens in a world where consumer loyalty is no longer a guarantee and the public stops buying from chains that promote woke concepts? What happens when going woke also means going broke? Is ESG cash really worth losing half your customers or more?

Well, not right now it isn’t. As central banks raise interest rates and cut their balance sheets the easy money party that started back in 2008 is ending. After a decade of exponential growth ESG is now in steep decline, and this is directly tied to the policies of central banks like the Federal Reserve. In the past year it is no longer viable to dump money into mostly useless woke projects. Yet, the woke trend continues. Why?

Twenty years ago, the name of the game in the business world was “brand building.” If you could build your brand and gain market loyalty you could sustain your profit model for decades to come. Now, corporations are actually willing to destroy the very brands they spent so much time and money developing all in the name of political idolatry.

It seems like pure madness, but what if they know something we don’t? What if they are riding out an engineered economic crisis so that they can be rewarded later with “too woke to fail” riches? My theory is that while ESG lending appears to be dying today, tomorrow ESG lending will be the only way any company will be able to survive.

We need to start considering the future possibility of globally institutionalized ESG.  The frightening notion of central bank ESG financing has been circulating ever since the early days of the covid pandemic. From the BIS to the Fed to the ECB, numerous programs began to surface with woke connotations. Most of them initially focused on climate change, with central banks suddenly taking an interest in “saving the planet” from a carbon threat that doesn’t exist. Now, there’s a rising chorus of DEI and social equity babble coming from central banks as well.

Maybe international banks are limited in how they engage in ESG lending, but what about central banks? What if they drop their facade of being “politically neutral” and come out full force in support of the woke mind virus? What if central banks become the foundation of ESG?  Wouldn’t woke lending then become perpetual?

I believe that this is exactly what is intended to happen, but it would have to be tied directly to an economic crisis as well as the introduction of digital currencies (CBDCs).  A debt crisis (along with stagflation) could force a majority of companies into a corner. With lack of funds, falling consumer spending and a tightening loan market, central banks and stimulus measures would once again become the only official mechanism for rebuilding the economy.

Governments would also be beholden to central banks as a means to stay afloat, and this means the bankers will have immense influence over how money is distributed (and how wealth is reallocated).

Unlike the crash of 2008, though, the next stimulus event will not be a fiat free-for-all. Instead, it will be RESET; a highly limited rescue plan with digital money being infused into select institutions. In other words, only a portion of the existing economy will be given a life boat, and guess who will qualify for a spot on the raft? That’s right, companies showing the most devotion to ESG.

This would explain why so many corporations are refusing to back away from woke marketing even though they’re losing millions of customers; they know what’s about to happen and they’re preparing in advance for the fallout as well as the inevitable digital bailouts.

Of course, some people will argue that this would require a level of organization and “conspiracy” that doesn’t exist. It would be “silly” to suggest that corporations are colluding to enact a plan to fundamentally upend the current economic paradigm, right? Wrong. At least in terms of coordination, the cabal has already openly announced its presence.

The collusion of corporations, think-tanks and governments to create an international woke monopoly is not theory, it’s reality. The only question left is when will central banks fully admit they’re a part of the scheme? I would suggest that the signs of banking crisis we witnessed at the beginning of this year are the tip of the iceberg.

As the Fed and others continue to raise interest rates into economic weakness stress on the system will expand, and eventually something integral will snap. Maybe it will be another Lehman moment, maybe it will be the US dollar losing reserve status or some other disaster. But it’s no coincidence that this invasion of far-left cultism in the business world is escalating at the same time that our economic foundations are struggling. One is related to the other, and it’s my view that the decay of the current system is meant to facilitate the creation of a new and perpetually woke economy.

The public would thus be trapped into participating in the cult by sheer necessity, unless, the population decentralizes using localized production and localized trade. Our entire way of life would have to change dramatically, drawing from self sufficient ideals that used to be a staple a hundred years ago.

ESG is not going away on its own. Woke ideology is not going away on its own. These structures will have to be destroyed, but you can’t rebel against a structure you rely on for your daily survival. You would first have to completely separate from it.

    Spot on, Brandon. Spot on.
    ..
Your article is prophetic. I am looking forward to your future article about the end of the whore:
    ..
Rev 17:1 …Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore [apostate church] that sitteth upon many waters [nations and peoples]: With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication. … I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, … And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:
    ..
Rev 17:18 And the woman which thou sawest is that great city [Rome], which reigneth over the kings of the earth.
    ..
Rev 18:3 For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities. Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double. How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow. Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her. And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning, Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come. And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more: …
    ..
Rev 18:20 Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on her.

Davy, you are proving how hard it is to pick up the Bible and interpret it using one’s unaided private judgment. A person can come up with all sorts of outlandish and misleading ideas. And still feel confident as a rock about it all. The Whore you mention, per the Fathers of the Church, is likely a nation or set of them, or “the world’s irreligious cities”. Who knows for sure. Pray always and be humble.

      • Davy Crockett June 16, 2023 at 3:29 pm

        @Ted
        No, and no.
2Pe 1:19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:
2Pe 1:20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
        and
A rather comprehensive reference of statements by church fathers:

Take heart. God has said, through His prophets, that He will bring down the Babylonian system. There will be a global reset but it will be done by Him and not by the WEF. Make sure you have some physical gold and silver.

Brandon: “What if they are riding out an engineered economic crisis so that they can be rewarded later with “too woke to fail” riches? My theory is that while ESG lending appears to be dying today, tomorrow ESG lending will be the only way any company will be able to survive.”
    ..
That’s an incredibly scary thought as it can cut both ways with perhaps no middle ground…either the evil behemoths like Target, Walmart, Amazon, etc. are taken down by the weight of their own woke stupidity (if mass boycotts continue, debts grows, and the globalists aren’t able to continue funding them), or the mom and pops all die off from not installing and waving the ESG banner. I’m hoping for the former, but the prospect of a world replacing money with social / ESG scores is scary.
    ..
Brandon: “The public would thus be trapped into participating in the cult by sheer necessity, unless, the population decentralizes using localized production and localized trade. Our entire way of life would have to change dramatically, drawing from self sufficient ideals that used to be a staple a hundred years ago. ESG is not going away on its own. Woke ideology is not going away on its own. These structures will have to be destroyed, but you can’t rebel against a structure you rely on for your daily survival. ..
Exactly. I remember when the Bud Light tranny story first came out, and people, even many Leftists, were against the indoctrination and were calling for boycotting. At that time, I thought, “Didn’t these woke companies expect a backlash?” And like you say, I’m sure they did, and I’m sure they didn’t care because the Deep State establishment has cards up their sleeves where money lost now won’t matter. What will matter is the money you have after they pull the “switch”. And I agree that these woke corporations are paid to take the fall, or at least “insured” by their backers if they have one.
    ..
So the question becomes what can we do about it? Being 100% self-sufficient is a damned near impossible thing. Who here can say they can grow all of their own food, make all of their own clothes, provide their own garden tools, electric power, fix their own plumbing, build and paint their own homes, etc.? And then still be able to function enough in the coming digital society to earn digital Unicoin dollars to pay the mortgage and property taxes, etc.? My guess is no one. But we can at least try be very good at producing at least one of these goods / services to trade with others who are also outside the digital system. Unfortunately, I don’t see someone who’s been a paper-pusher having any relevance in the new underground economy.

I would say it entirely possible for a COMMUNITY of people to provide all major necessities, including food and clothing. But only if they prepare ahead of time to do so.

“It’s been a bloodbath for the majority of companies that go overtly woke in the new era of American consumer rebellion… Corporations like Disney, Anheuser-Busch and Target are plunging in profits and losing billions in market cap…”
    .
In Today’s Twisted Twenty-First Century… radical social engineering is ALL that matters. Not history. Not tradition. Not corporations making money for shareholders. Not ethics and values. Not a positive vision for the future. Not personal freedom. Not ANY freedom. Just Sickly Social Engineering for the benefit and purposes of the Dark State.
    .
    “ESG (Environment, Social, Governance)…”
    .
‘Full Spectrum Dominance’ is Their end-game for the ‘Environment’ in all meanings of that word.
    .
Social… which in this case actually means Anti-Social.
    .
Governance? Yes, the long standing wet dream of Globalists who live for nothing but acquiring power and wealth for themselves at the expense of We the People whom the Power Addicted have always hated with a passion. And that hatred is on full display now.
    .
Society is being systematically twisted and contorted to fit a dark vision. Nothing is safe from the Global-wide social and environment wrecking-ball erasure of everything good and decent…
    .
Teaching the World that Good is Bad… and Bad is good.
    .
That Normal is Abnormal. And Abnormal is normal.
    .
And that you must feel guilt and shame for things you had absolutely nothing to do with. Wielding Guilt as a Global weapon.
    .
    ‘E-S-G’ is really ‘M-I-C-K-E-Y… M-O-U-(etc.)’.
    .
All They really need now is to wear those damn ears all the time. And We the People need to find some really, really big Mouse Traps.

—The power is through the people. I know that sounds cliche. I believe we have already set course for rough waters. At this point it’s about dealing with large choppy swells vs a giant whirlpool sucking everything under with it and somewhere in between. I think these boycotts are effective too because there’s some in the middle and perhaps even on the left who may be participating. That’s just a guess but I think it might be right. We’re going to need them as we close in on crunch time.

—I know I have said that a couple times already. I have been posting here a year so I can’t be accused of too much doom porn lol. We need people to get frustrated and make noise. If that doesn’t happen chances are “they” will continue to escalate with Russia and China. TPTB have been living in a bubble so long not even sure they understand what they’re doing at this point. In many respects they have bought into their own bullshit about reality being whatever they wish for. No wonder it’s so easy to sell the dream to their constituents.

—I have resurrected my hope for the Covid vaccines. Looking at the way TPTB circled the wagon around Damar Hamlin and Jamie Fox tells me it’s a concern for all those in power. Look at all stunts they pulled to dull or obfuscate the situation. I am also hopeful RFK Jr can break through the zeitgeist a bit. We should probably do what we can to encourage him. Hoping he can do for liberals what DT did for conservatives. That is all I am referring to. Took a while but Trump eventually brought me out of the 2 party paradigm. I have no idea if that was his goal (doubt it) the point is I got smarter.

—Honestly I don’t really give two shits about the elections. I don’t believe any of them can save us. Our implosion as a country is imminent. All China & Russia really need to do is sit back and wait. I say implosion but there are various degrees of such. Highly recommend that piece from Simplicius “Civil War” it’s on both of his blogs. Was thinking we needed something hard and fast but after reading that I changed my tune. Slow succession is probably our best bet. We should really try and get our numbers concentrated in a few states. Start our own currency and such as DC’s woes cascade across the land. Wish we could do it beforehand but that may be wishful thinking.

Great read as always sir! Keep it up!

    • Gauntlet33 June 12, 2023 at 9:52 am

Trump: I believe his handlers’ goal was to show we’re becoming a banana republic, and to further continue the red v. blue divide, and at the same time have voters think they voted for “change”. Remember how Obama won on the promise of “change”. Same BS here. Trump’s a deep state wolf in sheep’s clothing. And I’m with you where I don’t give 2 $hits about any of the elections, but I’m guessing there’s some local/state elections that matter and make a difference. And speaking of China and Russia, my best guess is that they’ll be attacking us (now financially, but later in a military conflict) once our economic power is destroyed.

  • A different guy June 10, 2023 at 6:31 am

Everything is basically owned by six corporations anyway. If you boycott one company, your substitute is still owned by the same group of criminals.

I’ve boycotted ALL OF THEM to the extent possible. Perpetual corporations are and always have been nothing but cover for criminals.

That’s why you shop at small businesses whenever possible.

      • A different guy June 10, 2023 at 8:15 am

Yep, and I also visit thrift stores and craigslist/marketplace for many larger items rather than buying new (which supports the system in bigger chunks).

The more one can do for themselves without the corporations, the less can be taken from them. HINT: Focus on food production if you want to live very long.

    • SgtDoom June 11, 2023 at 6:48 am

Sorry, guy, still being misled by PuppetMedia false narratives and lack of detailed financial knowledge. Study the modern history of cross—shareholding sometime: everything is basically owned by ONE CORPORATION, appearing as the Big Four investment firms who are the major shareholders in the majority of major corporations, who in turn are the majore shareholders in each other, ergo a single financial construct: BlackRock, Vanguard, State Street, and Fidelity (FMR)!

The power of cross–shareholding multiplied to the exponential degree! In Jose Azar’s well-known paper his and his associate researchers cite the owners of the top banks as those Big Four plus Berkshire–Hathaway and Wellington —– if they had drilled down just a bit more, they would have found that a combination of the Big Four were also the major shareholders in Berkshire and Wellington! (Not intended as criticism, a monumental research paper! [Recommend Jonathan Tepper’s book, “The Myth of Capitalism” —— he mostly gets it right!]

Now parents who really care about their children need to quietly remove their children from public schools and boycott them for good, because going to school bd meetings had shown the bad guys outnumber decent folks. Most churches don’t encourage parents to do this, since most are social centers and don’t want to offend anyone or miss getting someones donation.

And I forgot to mention that Glendale is widely known here in LA for having a high concentration of Christian Armenians, so there’s no way this is a grass roots movement that would in any way be tolerated by the Glendale community.

  • Van Franklin June 10, 2023 at 8:37 am

I’ve thought about too big too fail since 2008. If we had locked up some of these scum bankers that caused the crisis, we might not be in this place. To woke too fail will be the new normal. They got away with it last time, so nothing to stop this happening again.

The success of our boycotts has come even though many conservatives are not yet on board. Many still watch Faux news, and drink AB products. Many still take their kids to Disney and shop at Target. All need join in. Stop worrying what their young kids and society think. We need to completely bankrupt these companies. Then the rich leftists will have to come out of pocket with their own cash. A slow destruction will allow TPTB to print the money needed to bail these companies out, which is the worst outcome

The sudden Death of Dollah Dollah Bill would be a godsend at this point. Although painful to all of us, I don’t think the globalists are ready to roll out their CBDC yet. If this is the case we would see many opportunities to make changes on a local level. If Fedzillas printing press breaks we can take out some trash while they are scrambling to pay their henchman.

    • SgtDoom June 11, 2023 at 6:58 am

“The sudden Death of Dollah Dollah Bill would be a godsend ”

That is part of THEIR plan after all —- the RESET! America and China have been running on similar parallel courses of economic self destruction —– NOT coincidentally the same horrific percentages of small business loss, per capita, have occurred in China as America due to the lockdowns —- NO coincidence! Parallel banking problems in America AND China —– NO coincidence!

Usher in global CBDC led by the collapse of the top two global economies —- a done deal, bro!

I surely do not know if the CCP is still aligned with Schwab and his globalist masters, but either way not looking hopeful for the rest of us!

      • Van Franklin June 11, 2023 at 8:50 pm

If they bring it, its bad, as they’ll have the replacement fully ready to go. Just like those 10K word bills (patriot act) sitting in a drawer ready to go.

If it comes as a result of a black swan, ie. Russia takes Nato/US/Ukroid cornbread, then we have a chance to secede/Balkinize. That would be a better outcome IMO.

It seems China is still aligned with Schwab and the WEF. After all Covid and the mail in Election fraud enabled by it, were in large part due to US and Chinas deep state working together.

      • Gauntlet33 June 12, 2023 at 10:06 am

Speaking of China, I was in a Target store about 3 months ago and noticed that many items were barely or not stocked at all, especially in the toy and bicycle/sports sections. I thought it was odd because it wasn’t due to any holiday shopping season. Anyway, my thought was that stores like Target know of the impending economic shutdown and that they perhaps stopped ordering certain items from China, but haven’t checked back to see if items are still not stocked, so I’m wondering if other readers here have noticed the same.

I believe the big stores that are now pushing the trans clothing, are doing so at the command of the elite, to get scores of good people angry, they will use this anger later as their evidence to convince their side that we carried out the following next move. Their next move will be a false flag, probably killing hundreds as they attend gay pride month gatherings. Headlines will read, hundreds killed by white extremist trump loving christians. Mark my words friends, The Great Fire of Rome Part II. This is my take on it. Will they use the missing Ammonium nitrate? Good chance.

Very good point and I agree with that.
In Europe, these following “Too big to Fail” can collapse at any moment(this summer?): UNICREDIT bank(Italy), Societe Generale(France) and of course, Deutsche Bank(Germany).
    Next dominoes? We’ll see.

FYI(and without “surprise”): In Switzerland, the country where i live, these major banks i.e UBS/Credit Suisse and Julius Baer are very active in promoting wokism including LGBTQ’s propaganda, especially with flags on their roofs, for example.

P.S: Cyber Polygon could be use by globalists soon in order to implement their solution i.e CBDC.
As we know or suspect, they need another major crisis(this summer or fall?!).

  • Winston June 11, 2023 at 6:33 pm

Its funny that these big corporations that sign on the woke agenda are becoming “potemkin companies”, hollowed out of substance and divorced from its primary raison detre and just propped up by the establishment for the purposes of no more than propagandizing the population. They’ve become theater companies, forcing people who depend on the products to be witness to the obscenity they promote and to validate it subconsciously.

The establishment and the “potemkin companies” know that they don’t need their customers when they have a fed, printed money, and bailouts they can depend on for financing as long as they’re woke enough. That’s their big bet.

It will come to a point where the ruse is so obvious, when few if any customers shop with them and yet they still stand. Will that be enough to secure the bailouts they were hoping for if they’re no longer “useful” to the woke agenda with no patsy audience to propagandize?

What good is going into debt if their prodiut isnn’t selling. The whole point of debt is using it to grow your business. This explanation seems lacking for that reason. Unless it’s an outright charity donation.

What you are forgetting is that the goal is to homogenize the corporate world with government until they are one entity. The companies that survive would essentially become state companies, and the government as we know it will be openly influenced by corporate leaders. The debt is just a mechanism to achieve centralization. This has ALWAYS been the purpose of central bank debt. The explanation is exactly on target when you understand and accept the intended end game.

        Brandon, great explanation!

The deck is being slowly but deliberately stacked against us from both sides. Every corporation will eventually have to go fully ESG-woke in order to survive, and then programmable CBDCs will ensure that us lowly consumers cannot engage in “economic terrorism” or rebel by shopping elsewhere.

Brandon have ever looked into the deep aspect of the promotion of transgender agenda all across the globe…. even in my country Pakistan, the West spend lots of resources and lobbying through the so called social justice and human rights warriors to enact some laws that would pave the way for future legislation to successfully install this Nefarious Agenda…. For the time being courts are not willing to do so but due to economic problems, I think it is very likely that in near future our government, which is mostly controlled by the army would give in, inorder to secure some foreign aid….. Would you please, in your future articles, shed some light on its deeper aspects, that why a minority Agenda forcefully imposed on the whole world?? I mean what they want to get from This Rainbow Craze and it is deemed so urgent coupled climate madness???

Concerning the dystopia on run, here’s an interesting summary:

    P.S:
Brandon, do you have an opinion on the numerous “criminal” indictments against Trump? Is it just another major distraction or something more sinister?

I think actions against Trump are just a means to an end. I’m becoming more and more convinced that the globalists are stabbing at the ribs of patriots until individuals snap and go to war, but I think they want random misdirected violence – i.e. Patriots going off and killing the wrong people, or people who are not really relevant to the overall conflict. What they DO NOT want is organized conservatives and libertarians taking action in an intelligent way.

Thank you for this brilliant explanation.
Order out of chaos: again and again. BUT, it doesn’t work every time.

Yep, I think you nailed it. Thanks for laying it out logically and simply.

Just an observation, but as we ‘vote with our feet’ and boycott this wok crap, we also inadvertently destroy companies that employe many of…us.

Go ahead and stop shopping at target so they have to shut down stores. Who does this hurt? Not the guys at the top, but us regular people who actually operate the company.

Stop drinking Budweiser – an american icon mind you – so they have to shut down. Who does this hurt? You and me and uncle Johnny who drives bud trucks…

We’re in a tough spot. The screws are being tightened.

It doesn’t hurt us at all, really. Just start supporting small businesses instead. Or start your own small business to compete. The money has to go somewhere, better that it goes to non-woke retailers and the people they employ.

Hey Brandon, thank you 4 this thoroughly written article, as always down to earth, pragmatic and with a clear vision encapsulated.

We are being bashed by the Biden regime, we are MAGA-extremist, Russia-loving, gay-bashing, white supremacists. Are we???
