For most people in the preparedness movement planning revolves primarily around basic necessities and fundamental survival. We figure out how we are going to eat, drink and sleep in relative security – But much of this planning is limited to our own isolated circumstances. The fact is, no one is going to survive for long without a community of people working together. The notion of the “lone wolf” or “gray man” is a fantasy.
With this truth in mind, we must now consider how such a community would function without falling into anarchy. First and foremost, the people involved would have to all contribute certain necessary skills and labor to keep each other safe, sheltered and fed.
