This is an odd one, I know, but before I started my work in the liberty movement over 16 years ago, I had aspirations to work in visual entertainment media. The woke war on our entertainment industry has destroyed most of our beloved stories and the heroes from our childhood, and I would very much like to add some new stories and characters to provide non-woke entertainment for people that want it (and that’s the vast majority of people).
I figure the most cost effective way to do that is start with comic books. The industry has been completely poisoned by leftist cancer and needs to be resurrected through independent creators. I have a completed story script and will be looking for an artist to partner with. Just thought I would see if there are any artists among the readers here at Alt-Market first.
A synopsis of the story:
It is a Horror/Action/Thriller – The movie ‘Taken’ meets HP Lovecraft and the Evil Dead series.
A small rural town is suffering from a series of child disappearances and bizarre events. The community is in slow decay and town officials are doing nothing to help. Little does the community know these disappearances are connected to a much larger cosmic conspiracy involving an inhuman threat. It’s up to a survivalist with a mysterious past to uncover the plot and even climb into the depths of hell to stop it.
I need an artist with experience in the horror genre who can draft one cover page and at least two regular pages as examples I can use for a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo. I will pay by the page and the rate will be very fair, but I will need high quality work to kick this thing off. If the crowdfunding is a success, then I will continue to need an artist for at least 120 pages of work. If interested, please contact me at:

Brandon Smith
While I do draw comics it’s mostly Sunday Funnies type comic strips and I’ve never done anything on a professional level.
If you know anyone in the comic art world that might be interested, send them my way.
I suggest Bags Draws

He is a great artist that makes one of a kind art for Value for Value podcasts.
Definitely like his art but it’s a little too stylized for this project. Looking for somebody who does something close to the sci-fi pulp art above, old school gold key, or perhaps a style like that used in the comic Transmetropolitan.
Hey Brandon. Sorry to be that guy, posting another ‘No’ when your asking for ‘Yes’, but I trust someone here will come through with the goods – Sadly I am not it… – *As Of Yet*…
…- That being said tho’, I completely agree with the first part of your appeal above, re: the state of the creative/storytelling industries. I used to sketch and draw all the time back in the day – hung out with a bunch of (so I believed at the time) creatives, and generally gigged in those circles (mostly theater and live music/event crewing), so I eventually came to see first hand, even back then (late 90’s – early-mid 00’s) and even at the so-called ‘grassroots’ level what you have described both above and elsewhere previously: – The shitlibs own that whole scene *Outright*.
While I am *No Way* currently in a place to give you what you asked for here and now, your request along with your accurate take on the current status quo set me thinking, and I wonder if you’d consider the idea of opening up an occasional strand here, or perhaps elsewhere online, where frustrated or maybe just curious liberty-minded creatives and storytellers could shoot the breeze and kick about ideas/concepts or pitch projects for potential collabs as you are doing here with your comic idea (which I wish you *All Power* to your elbow, BTW, and I’m sure you will succeed with…)
…- I also wonder if others here have had similar notions, and ‘feel a column coming on’ as the great Spider would say…
You might consider reaching out to Vox Day … take a look at some of the stuff his stable of artists does at Arkhaven…

I appreciate what Vox Day is doing in building an alternative to the Big 2, but one thing Arkhaven’s efforts consistently fall short on is the art.
I was watching a YouTube video recently that talked about the “Filipino invasion” into comics in the late 1960s/early 1970s. It made me wonder why we don’t see more of that these days, given the ease of transferring pages over the internet. Some of those artists were amazing! Tony DeZuñiga, Alfredo Alcala, Nestor Redondo, Gerry Talaoc (whose style might be great for Brandon’s book), etc. I don’t know if any of these artists are still working, but maybe they trained some other artists.
I’m working on a comic series of my own, but I don’t think my style is what you’re looking for (I strive for a hybrid of traditional superhero comics with over the top Saturday Morning Cartoon bombast):

Plus, I really need to get my first story arc done before I start taking on new projects, but I do agree with your motives for wanting to do a comic book. Because that’s the same thing that I’m trying to accomplish with my book: countering the woke cancer with new characters and a focus on storytelling, not indoctrination.
I don’t know if you’ve heard of Comicsgate, but that’s one of the founding principles of that movement. Ethan Van Sciver being one of the most prominent members. He worked for DC and Marvel Comics for decades, but found himself blacklisted from the mainstream comic industry when people found out that he voted for Trump. So he struck out on his own and has literally made millions crowdfunding his own IPs (mostly Cyberfrog).
Ethan’s channel on Youtube is ComicArtistProSecrets and he does livestreams fairly regularly. You could get into the chat of one of those and start making connections with other people who share the same goals. Unfortunately, I think there are far more writers looking for artists out there than artists looking for writers.
Hi Nathan, thanks for the tips and that’s some great art you have there. Not quite what I’m searching for on this particular project but possibly for another script I want to publish if this first project goes well. I’m familiar with Comicsgate and love that those guys are fighting back with their own projects. I did try to email Ethan Van Sciver about finding liberty minded artists but got no response. I guess I could try the chat on one of his live streams as you suggest. Also, if you could email me I would actually like to ask you a couple of questions about how you managed your Indiegogo campaign, if you don’t mind. Regards.
Ethan is pretty tough to get ahold of by email. He’s only responded to me a few times. I tend to have better luck getting in touch with him through his Twitter account: @EthanVanSciver
Someone else to try contacting is Michael Bancroft. He’s a Comicsgate guy from Australia who does a lot to promote smaller crowdfunded books. He does several livestreams throughout the week where he will have new creators on to talk about their projects. He’s a real good guy and actually helped me out with fulfilling my most recent campaign with my Australian backers. He just goes by Michael Bancroft on Youtube and @thelucentcomic on Twitter.
I’ll shoot you an email here soon.
Hey buddy.

Sent you an email. If you don’t mind, send me some art samples at: brandon@alt-market.com
The premise sounds great, Brandon! I look forward to seeing what happens.
I was raised on comics in the 1970s and 80s. I dropped them around the early 2000s, but not because of the quality. Since then, I have seen enough of what is currently out there that it breaks my heart to see what the SJW locusts have done to the characters I loved in the DC and Marvel universes. Like you, I would like to write a comic book series that captures the magic I was fortunate enough to grow up with. I have an idea that is percolating in my brain. Maybe I’ll finally tackle it when I retire in a few years. 🙂 Good luck with yours and I hope you find your artist!
Would Neil Hague be able to do this kind of artwork? https://www.neilhague.com/
I’m very supportive of original entertainment and fiction that challenges the contrivances of the elite.
I can’t wait for an explosion of sincere creativity based on individual aspirations.
I’ve been asking for a while now when it comes to our culture: who are we really?
Obviously, we can’t help the fact that true individuality is now cross-pollinated with globalist influence and propaganda. But the challenge is ever present for us to identify the elements of influence and reach inside for real human inspiration.
I can’t wait to rediscover what we all really care about. I’m totally supportive of your initiative on this project Brandon.
Maybe team up with Ben (& Tina) Garrison? They are in the area, spoke at FLC.
