Remember Peanut: A Treatise On Evil And Why The State Killing Of A Squirrel Matters So Much

November 13, 2024 90 Comments

By Brandon Smith

What is evil? For the average person it’s a difficult concept to explain but most of us know it when we see it. Every once in a while there’s an event which strikes the collective consciousness in such a way that it becomes deeply symbolic. Sometimes these events symbolize ultimate good, and sometimes they symbolize ultimate evil. The public is affected by these things in ways they didn’t expect and might not even comprehend, but they are archetypal and profound nonetheless.

In the wake of Donald Trumps election victory and the jubilant celebration some people might overlook one of these recent events; the state assassination of a man’s pet squirrel and the national anger that followed.  Why does the death of a squirrel matter? It’s not only about the squirrel, it’s about the context and what it means for our civilization at large.

In a progressive controlled state (New York), Mark Longo ran a legal animal sanctuary for abandoned and injured animals. He promoted the sanctuary on social media with videos featuring his long time pet, Peanut the Squirrel. Longo rescued Peanut after his mother was killed in an accident and he raised the animal for seven years.

Peanut became internet famous as the mascot for “P’Nut’s Freedom Farm”, and he was clearly never a threat to anyone.  So, why after seven years does the New York Department of Environmental Conservation suddenly target Mark Longo for a criminal raid which resulted in the seizure of some of his animals (including Peanut) which were then immediately euthanized?

The State of NY indicates that SOMEONE made multiple reports against Longo, accusing him of violations including keeping animals with rabies. They also claimed Peanut had bitten people. No evidence has been presented to show these accusations to be true. And, as with all government bureaucracy, the state sent thugs to terrorize the poor man and his family instead of simply talking to him.

Whoever set Longo up did their homework, because accusations of rabies lead to the immediate death of an animal. The CDC requires that an animal be put down before samples can be sent for rabies testing. Peanut never had a chance.

So far there is no confirmed information on who actually lied and set up Longo for the raid. What we do know is that the person responsible for greenlighting the raid is State DEC officer Karen Przyklek (yes, an actual Karen).

Regardless of who swatted Longo and his animal sanctuary, it was the State of New York and the DEC that was responsible for handling the case and they did so in the worst way possible. According to Longo they treated him like a drug dealer and then they killed his beloved pets without telling him and without due process. Longo and Peanut were guilty until proven innocent.

I have to say, when it comes to my pets I take a hard line position: They are a part of my family. Hurt my pets and I’ll hurt you. I don’t care what the law says. I don’t care about your rationale. Retribution is coming.

I think there’s a lot of people out there that agree with this sentiment and most of them are conservative. There is also clearly an element of government overreach here that made the death of Peanut a catalyst for political debate between conservatives and progressives over state power. Leftists love the state and defend it blindly. Conservatives are suspicious of the state and seek to contain it.

But there’s something more going on underneath the surface that I want to address, and that’s the emotional and spiritual side of injustice. Why target Longo? What was he doing to anyone? As far as I can tell he was bringing happiness to people while giving a home to animals in need. Why target a loved pet? What motivates certain people to do these things? What motivates the government to do these things?

I have pondered these questions for many years and like most people I first turned to innocuous explanations. Maybe these terrible situations are a result of simple misunderstandings? Maybe the complexity of bureaucracy leads to unintended consequences? Maybe the system is broken but the people within it generally have good intentions?

None of these things ultimately explain something like the killing of Peanut. Instead, I can only come to one conclusion: There are very evil people in the world and the state often colludes with those people to destroy good things.  Their goal is to seek out any and all goodness in the world and suffocate it. And this is what has so many people upset about a pet squirrel.

One of my favorite television shows of all time is a series from the 1990s called ‘Millennium’ starring Lance Henriksen. The show explores the idea of physical evil; not evil as an archetypal concept or a social disease, but evil as a tangible predatory entity and how it seeks to destroy mankind.

In that series one of my favorite episodes is called ‘A Room With No View’. A character by the name of Lucy Butler (Lucifer), kidnaps and imprisons promising children with unique qualities. She then psychologically tortures them until they agree to give up on their dreams. When they promise to turn to a life of mediocrity, she sets them free because they are no longer a threat to the machinations of evil.

For me this depiction of evil was a revelation. It wasn’t the usual cackling, mustache twirling devil of most popular media, trying to get people to commit a mass shooting or commit suicide or start a world war. Rather, this was a subtle and insidious evil that inspires people to simply give up trying to do good. This devil wasn’t a reactionary randomly attempting to create chaos today; he was planning generations ahead and making the future increasingly less hopeful.

It’s the kind of thing we see from narcissists and psychopaths all the time – That desire to extinguish positive motivation and leave the people around them in drudgery. That malicious drive to make good people stop doing good things and grinding them down to nothing over the course of years or decades. Evil is often subversive and it plays the long game.

When I hear progressives defend the state of NY and their actions against Longo, I can’t help but be reminded of the idea of evil as a subtle living force. I saw a lot of leftists on social media trying to diminish public concerns about the event by making false comparisons. They say conservatives “care more about a dead squirrel than they cared about the death of George Floyd.”

I say yes, we do, because Peanut the Squirrel was more valuable to the world than George Floyd.

Peanut was doing good. Even though he was just an animal he was doing far more good than the majority of leftists combined. We’re worse off without Peanut, we’re better off without career criminals like George Floyd. And I think it says a lot about a group that idolizes a man who robbed a pregnant woman at gunpoint while they simultaneously ignore government abuse of power when it’s inconvenient for their political agenda.

My feeling is that, for whatever reason, Mark Longo and Peanut caught the eye of evil people and those people saw a positive social effort that they immediately wanted to snuff out. And one thing I’ve noticed about evil people is that they gravitate to other evil people. They seem to find each other in a crowded room. They work together across great distances and help each other in the destruction of innocents. (How else do you explain the rapid spread of trans indoctrination of children, for example?)

In other words, when you set out to do something positive for the world or enact legitimate solutions to real problems, just understand that you WILL eventually be targeted. You probably won’t know why. It probably won’t make any logical sense. And it will be people you’ve probably never met in your life or people that you barely know. Maybe they’re demons in disguise. Maybe they are possessed. Maybe they symbolize a twisted test to see if you’re truly dedicated to your cause.

When these challenges arrive and evil seeks you out, know that it will use whatever means at its disposal to sabotage you and that usually includes government. To confirm how evil your society truly is, all you have to do is determine who the government chooses to help and who the government chooses to hurt. If the government regularly comes to the aid of people with ill intent while stepping on the necks of those with pure hearts, then you know that your society is on the doorstep to hell.

Brandon, I’m wondering what you think of “evil” as defined by libertarians, which is aggression against others, i.e. the failure to just leave other people alone. Progressives love more than anything to impose on others and force things on them. Any chance to interfere with the lives and choices of others, they relish and practically worship. It’s part of their religion to force their beliefs on everyone else and to come up with the most offensive beliefs they can while pretending to be righteous (and definitely more righteous than conservatives and Christians). Their whole goal seems to be to come up with an alternative belief system that conflicts as much as possible with traditional belief systems in things like liberty and nuclear families and then ram it down everyone else’s throats and claim it’s the right thing to do.

You’re describing what Satan told our God that he would invert his natural order and Destroy his creation.
What you’re seeing are people on the left hand path of Lucifer now

      • Ontheridge November 13, 2024 at 8:36 pm

That is why I don’t put Sweety Pie on the internet. She’s a house sparrow I found “dead” on the barn concrete floor. I picked up the pink, newly hatched, ice cold, creature to throw it out into the paddock, and as I was carrying it, it slowly opened and closed its mouth. I ran it into the house, put its body under warn tap water, kept it warm, fed it 36 times a day, and she is now over 6 years old. They live an average of 18 months in the wild. She has a cage, but it is never closed so she has free flight of the whole house. She has a cute personality, angrily grumpy in the morning, pecking furiously at a bell, sweet tiny chirps when I come home from work, excitedly chirping when she’s happy, landing on my hair and laying down rubbing her body on it when she wants a bath, landing on my shoulder when I do the dishes, and playing with my hair. Loves her bath time either in my cupped hands or in a stainless round tray. Loves lettuce as a treat but won’t eat berries, sunflower seeds, cherries, wheat and crushed corn, or anything else that wild sparrows eat, which has been disappointing. She is such a joy, stealing my eye liner cap and flying around the room with it, sitting on my shoulder while I read. I will never declare her if the government wants a tally of all my animals, as they are doing in England, as I heard.

        • C. Wil November 14, 2024 at 9:29 am

A beautiful story about your pet sparrow. You have a good heart. And you give us a good lesson, to stay under the radar.

    • Stephen Zierak November 13, 2024 at 4:15 pm

If you want to understand a progressive’s destruction of the good, you need only read Ayn Rand’s “Atlas Shrugged.”

      • Johnathan Galt November 14, 2024 at 1:39 pm

Yep. Ever wonder why, despite the fact that her storytelling was clumsy and pedantic, she remains one of the most widely read authors in history and is still the one figure universally despised by every variety of totalitarian? It’s because 50 years after her death they have been utterly incapable of refuting anything she said. Even today, the mere sight of one of her fictional character’s names results in a knee-jerk programmed outrage parroting one or both of their two completely debunked talking points.

To totalitarians, TRUTH is an “existential threat.”

    • Johnathan Galt November 14, 2024 at 1:35 pm

Well said. And yes, that is an almost perfect definition of evil – the use of threats and force to achieve goals which are utterly unnecessary but simply satisfy one person’s desires at the expense of another’s.

      • Steven Rowlandson November 15, 2024 at 4:49 pm

The definition of evil I heard is ,”I will.”

  • Richard Ruggiero November 13, 2024 at 7:26 am

The good is that which enables us to flourish and prosper in a rational way and the evil is what destroys it. The left is guided by their desire to kill and destroy the good because the good are a constant reminder of what they’ve betrayed within themselves. They’re driven to wipe this reminder off the face of the earth. I hope this Karen’s life becomes a living hell forcing her to go into hiding as a warning to the evil to remain hidden under the rocks from which they dwell.

    • dollops November 13, 2024 at 2:37 pm

You nailed it. It is dissatisfaction with themselves that motivates them to strike out at better (happier) people. At the root of their character is psychopathy, hearts of stone.

    • Amuzed_Traveler November 20, 2024 at 9:29 pm

No, I hope she meets a horrible, slow, tortuous death.

  • Hubbs November 13, 2024 at 8:29 am

I have always wondered what motivates people to do harm to others, or even if just passively delighting in the misfortune of others, as defined by the term “schadenfreude.”
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schadenfreude#Psychological_causes
Is this just an extension of the narcissistic sociopath who celebrates in a Duper’s Delight or is this basically an instinctive act of self-preservation- to harm others to ensure they cannot compete or pose a threat to needed resources?

I forget what the incidence of sociopathy, broadly speaking, the inability to have empathy for others, is in the population. 2%? Is a natural instinct or is it learned? There seems to be some survival/reproductive benefit to it.
And even more concerning is whether it exists in all types of people whether based on socioeconomic status, IQ, race etc.
In my opinion, since I am a now a retired physician who encountered many lawyers and physicians, its presence seems to concentrate in politicians, lawyers, ….and physicians. Possibly because they can better disguise their mal intent. Yet these are the very people who find their way into politics and law andunfortunately into medicine. Maybe also in corporate banking and industry. ( I guess I can make an exception for a gifted surgeon who has personality problems, because at least he has a useful skill to offer as long as he is not killing people for power and control (it goes beyond $$$) like Dr Fauci,) but politicians are \ parasites at best.

    • Jim November 13, 2024 at 3:29 pm

You’re very astute and knowledgeable I guess we could say you’re a wise old man now I enjoyed reading your comment

    • Matt November 13, 2024 at 4:25 pm

I think what motivates the evil in sociopaths starts with freudenschade. What keeps them going is schadenfreude.

  • Karen November 13, 2024 at 10:22 am

Don’t forget that the state killed Fred the raccoon, too. A woman living in Texas filed the complaints. How does a woman residing in Texas know with certainty the health of animals living with the Longo family in New York? Something is not right.

Brandon Smith November 13, 2024 at 10:26 am

The reports of the woman in Texas ended up being fake.

The real “rabid” creature is the one who was so jealous of a cute pet that it had to be Killed! Trash floyd caused all his own strife! PNut was an innocent! Hope IT has dug a very deep hole for itself (or move to dubhi) . Time to be canceled!

      • Gotheart November 14, 2024 at 7:49 am

“We’re worse off without Peanut, we’re better off without career criminals like George Floyd.”

        Perfect!

      • David Homer November 15, 2024 at 11:21 am

It used to be considered a natural right that an accused person has a right to confront their accuser. That hasn’t been one of our rights for a long time now. It seems the state can even exact punishment without even conveying what the crime is to the accused.

    • tomhoser November 13, 2024 at 12:45 pm

There’s a lot not right in NY. The fish stinks from the head, and that’s Hochel.

I think it was that SOB from California who goes under the handle of Mr. Ed. I’d throw him in the can, as in Alpo. Look out Hayburner!

Go watch the Tunnel Opening Ceremony on YouTube and then get back to me about these evil people not being real or not worshipping Satan.
It should scare the pants off you. Also, in Russia a man claiming to be a Messiah ran a community of peaceful believers…of course they stomped him into the dirt.

  • BDD November 13, 2024 at 11:59 am

Everyone here has access to Google, search this; “Do squirrels get rabies”.
After you see the result’s, the whole “official” lie falls apart. Yes they are Demons!

Thanks. I looked it up and you are correct. I never knew that.

  • DARRIN BDC6 November 13, 2024 at 12:01 pm

Leave leftist states like new York immediately and don’t look back, they are evil like the state I soon will be leaving Maryland. Leave them to satan and his slaves.

  • Dogboy November 13, 2024 at 12:23 pm

Go check out the “squirrel rescue” videos available on-line. When raised by humans, they grow up regarding their humans as their mommy. They are highly intelligent creatures, and become affectionate, loyal and very beloved pets. Killing Peanut was like killing a beloved dog or cat.

    • Luke November 16, 2024 at 1:31 pm

There is an AMAZING video on YouTube. This guys sets up an experiment/obstacle course to test the squirrels in the area. Was trying to keep them out of the bird feeder I think (been a while). Never really thought too much of squirrels until I watched that. That dude putting on the experiment is VERY creative himself.

The best definition of Evil I have ever heard is this:

Evil Destroys Good for Simply No Reason at All.

Hmm sounds a lot like what happened to P-Nut!!

  • oldbat November 13, 2024 at 12:25 pm

evidently peanut bit someone. there was a racoon there and it is a rabies vector. only one way to determine if an animal has rabies: examine the brain. could have been avoided if owner had required a warrant, which would not have been granted if it was an anonymous complaint as has been indicated. so lay off with the murdering of a pet. there was no choice and the root cause lies with the owner

    • Tazz2293 November 13, 2024 at 3:15 pm

Evidently you drown kittens and puppies just for fun.

Evidently is not factual evidence is it oldbat?

You are one miserable person that thinks the killing of Peanut and Fred is okay because in your frightened tiny mind the world you cannot control scares you.

      • Matt November 13, 2024 at 5:04 pm

Oldbat is obviously a government worshipping Democrat that ‘evidently’ applauds mandatory masks, vaccines, Ukraine war funding, WW3 & the stripping of children from antivaxers….

      • spud November 14, 2024 at 9:01 am

oldbat is just a bot to stir the pot

    • Jim November 13, 2024 at 3:25 pm

That’s Up For Debate old Moon bat.
Did he bite someone before the raid or after the raid.
That’s the question why were they in the house in the first place?
Someone lied and said they were bit when they never were bit how were they bit when this man has the squirrel in his house and it never had rabies the test was negative you moron

    • dino November 13, 2024 at 3:27 pm

Since no one came out and said that peanut bit them, why are you so quick to use that as an excuse? Where is the bandage? Also, there are symptoms when an animal is sick, and since it damages the brain, it is easily seen that if it was sick, after 7 years, you could tell, also where would it get rabies from? Another animal that bit it? You are also assuming the owner did not have any documentation for being a rescue. besides that squirrel is not a vector for rabies. You are also assuming that it was not given a rabies shot. even the government is throwing baits with rabies vaccine into the wild and in a grid to hopefully vaccinate all coons. .

    • poppi November 13, 2024 at 3:56 pm

      “evidently”….
      Evidently????
      SHOW ME THE EVIDENCE!
      Hospital ER records for example;
      911 audio tapes.
Name the person who claims to have been bitten; name them in the warrant..
      THERE IS NO EVIDENCE.

    • Avatar photo
Brandon Smith November 13, 2024 at 4:00 pm

That was a lie. There’s zero evidence that Peanut attacked anyone. Stop spreading disinformation.

    • Alison November 13, 2024 at 4:40 pm

Squirrels are not vectors for rabies. Observation for a few days would have proved neither had rabies. The “rabies” garbage was just that.

    • Grendelwulf November 13, 2024 at 9:03 pm

If I was a panicked animal being forcibly removed from my loving home, I’d bite too. And the agency that raided his home did have a warrant, based upon some Karen’s malicious lie. BTW, it was not anonymous, it was a named woman who claimed the pet was being exploited online. What a disgusting, disingenuous, heartless comment. You should be ashamed of yourself.

    • Robert B November 13, 2024 at 9:43 pm

“Squirrels, mice, and other small rodents have only very rarely been found to have rabies, and have never been known to transmit rabies to humans or other animals. In general, postexposure treatment is not recommended after a bite from one of these animals unless it is unusually vicious or appears obviously ill.”

  • Matt November 13, 2024 at 12:57 pm

It’s about killing the innocent. Be it a squirrel or an abortion. Evil wants to do horrors to innocence and it wants good men (& women) to do nothing.

It will then take a dreg of society, George Floyd, a drug addict thug and elevate that to what is innocent.

Evil destroys true innocence and replaces it with something false.

Antichrist = Instead of Christ, a false Christ. Falsehood. A Lie!

  • Jim November 13, 2024 at 1:05 pm

The progressive Democrats exemplify a culture of death… vaccines, abortion, and cold-blooded pet murder.

  • gauntlet33 November 13, 2024 at 1:20 pm

Brandon, great article! — the kind that really moves me.
    .
That Karen even looks, talks, and acts like the stereotypical Karen.
    .
Also, as many of us here know, it’s their goal to make all animals as scary, potential carriers of deadly pandemic diseases. That’s why Christian Westbrook, The Ice Age Farmer (may he rest in peace and Heaven if he’s no longer with us) warned us a few short years ago, that they’ll be coming for our animals, including our chickens, ducks, geese, etc., to cause a Holodomor and starve us to death. Mass genocide is what they want. But, the more even and tyrannical they become, the more people see their true stripes and the overreach and invasion of our liberties. These globalists and their COVIDiot puppets are in many ways still inching along, but they’ll fail some day in an even bigger way than the COVID plot failed, and it’s up to us to make them pay when they do.
    .
And for those of you who don’t know this already, they’re planning some type of COVID 2.0. Will it be called monkey pox, ebola, SPARS, virus X? Who knows? But we do know they game-planned this: https://centerforhealthsecurity.org/sites/default/files/2022-12/spars-pandemic-scenario.pdf
    .
Hopefully we’ll be ready to warn others out there not to take their new vaccine or pill.
    .
Last, for those of you who haven’t heard this, I highly recommend this historical account by Myron Fagan of how the globalists took control of our societies, and I hope you spread this video to others to open their minds. I’ve been listening to it while driving to and from work, and I can tell you that it’s very dense with lots of secrets that have been hidden from us.

  • Roundball Shaman November 13, 2024 at 1:23 pm

“What is evil? For the average person it’s a difficult concept to explain but most of us know it when we see it.”
    .
Evil is anything that is Anti-Life.
    .
God is Life. God gives life. Evil is the polar opposite of The Good… thus Evil is anything in any form or way — from little things to big things like wars — that are Anti-Life.
    .
Human Beings have been trying justify committing Pain and Death upon others as long as humans have been around. Human Beings are infested with a spirit of darkness… a spirit of ‘evil’. It is one’s (holy) quest in Life to finally and totally tame and overcome and defeat that toxic spirit within.
    .
But the thing is… not everyone wants to tame and defeat their internal evil. Instead, they want to embrace and celebrate that evil and enjoy more of it.
    .
And the problem for the Human Family is that those who have tamed their evil have to live around and next to countless humans who have no interest in defeating their dark side at all. Talk about living in a bad neighborhood…
    .
“Why does the death of a squirrel matter?”
    .
A Squirrel is Life. A squirrel is a given form of living creature fashioned by the same Hand of God that infused humans with Divine Spirit. And guess what? That same God also infused that squirrel (and all other living things) with that very same Divine Spirit.
    .
Shamans will tell you that every living thing is at essence the same. The human being… the beast… the tree… even the weeds of the field… we are all One. We are One because we all came from the same place (Divinity) and we are inseparable from the creations around us. In fact, Creator and Creation are not separate. Instead, Creator and Creation are One Thing… an inseparable Totality. Even Quantum Physics now teaches that… discovering what the great seers have always known. You cannot have an Observed Thing without an Observer to make it so.
    .
People can be assessed and evaluated in many ways… and one of the most important is this: A person is either living in ways that worships and promotes Life… or they live in ways that desecrate and deny Life. And how one treats the living things around them will quickly tell the tale of which camp they fit in with.
    .
And this notion also reflects itself in politics. While both Parties are flawed and nothing to build one’s life around… the evolution of the Republican and Democrat Parties has pretty much aligned with one Party acting in promotion of Life and other one actively working against it. And the most obvious example of that is how each Party looks at the issue of Abortion. Which at its heart is… Life, or Death. Can’t get much more basic than that.
    .
All of Creation is a reflection of Divinity. Everything came from the same One Divine Source. And the differences between and among us comes down to who among us understands and embraces that reality… and who denies this as well as their own connection to the divine.
    .
Evil – as much as we hate it – was allowed here for a reason. And that reason is to give us something to make us recoil from… push against… and reject as toxic and wrong… and that is what helps lead to us find and acknowledge our true Divine Nature.
    .
Evil is but a signpost on the road to finding our way back to Heaven. Evil can’t win… but is sure can be painful as hell as long as we find ourselves around it.
    .
So the next time you find yourself around a squirrel — send it some love.

    • Bart November 13, 2024 at 3:30 pm

Call bs on all is one and evil helps lead us to or true nature by push back – read ‘On Resistance to Evil by Force’ by Ivan Alexandrovich Ilyin
Evil is absence of love and spiritualization. Evil must be for forcibly rejected. True liberty only comes from rejecting sin.

    • gauntlet33 November 13, 2024 at 3:48 pm

      @Roundball Shaman,
“And this notion also reflects itself in politics. Can’t get much more basic than that.”
      .
I’m going to be hated by many for saying this, but unfortunately, that’s the problem with the debate that I see happening on both sides. While I side Conservative on this issue, you’re completely ignoring that there’s a freedom / liberty issue. In other words, society is trying to weigh/balance whether the unborn child’s right to live supercedes and is more important than the mother’s right to be free from having to carry that baby to birth, but that burden is simply ignored by the right. And ignoring that issue is what causes the disconnect.

      • Roundball Shaman November 13, 2024 at 5:03 pm

        gauntlet33: “… you’re completely ignoring that there’s a freedom / liberty issue.”

I cherish the ‘freedom’ issue as much as anyone. But here’s the thing. Actually I’m not ignoring it but expanding it. How?

Freedom and Liberty must also apply to the Life that being extiguished. Where is their right of freedom? That is being taken from them, as is their very life itself.

And another thing. The woman who must decide whether or not to extinguish her child HAD THE FREEDOM to choose another course in the first place (most times) – to choose birth control or some other means to not get pregnant. She already exercised her freedom and rights in making the decision to handle her sexuality the way she did.

Look, I understand how painful this is for many women and that certain circumstances like rape took away that woman’s right to decide about that pregnancy. This is hardly a simple issue with easy answers here.

But I know one thing. There is a human life involved that will have their freedoms and rights completely taken away from them before they even had one chance.

In short… the adult (in most cases) always gets to decide. And in every case of a life being extinguished… that life NEVER had one chance to decide anything.

What is needed on all sides is more compassion and less legalism. This is a painful human issue. But it is the adults in this dynamic that must do a better job of not creating painful situations because the emerging life cannot do anything about this.

The unspoken truth in all this is that many humans are doing a very poor job of handling their sexuality. This is a great health and social crisis that professionals are not addressing at all. So we leave all this to – politicians? Not a good idea…

          Amen, thank you!
“Murdered without a choice” is now Recreational Sex birth control, “parts” an economic industry, plus a Blood Sacrifice to Evil. It’s just True!
100% of those “choosing” Health CARE Rights – means Death, “that” baby’s body has No Rights-No Voice, all had a “Mother”, who Chose Life, to enable 100%-every innocent soul, to be murdered.

          @RoundBall Shaman,
          .
I don’t believe you’re giving the situation a fair shake. You say, a woman who gets pregnant had a choice to make prior to even having sex. In many ways, I agree. However, I’m not a woman, but my wife has told me that the other options out there are not pleasant and some are outright dangerous such as the IUD and the pills. At a minimum, they mess with their hormone levels, and worst case scenario there could be other physical complications. Also, I read your entire response and you again didn’t make one mention where you acknowledge that a woman who gets pregnant will have to endure (just off the top of my head):
          – 9 months pregnancy which includes,
          – not drinking alcohol or smoking for 9 months (minimum!…a few years longer if she’s not going to give it up for adoption),
          – looking and feeling like $hit,
          – nausea,
          – back pains,
          – insomnia,
          – extremely painful delivery,
          – medical bills,
          – doctors telling/forcing you to deliver Caesarian which means scarring,
          – if you’re lucky to do a vaginal delivery then likely cutting or tearing of the vaginal area to allow room for the baby to pass,
          – even possible death – my wife’s dad’s mother died during his delivery,
          – possibly losing your job due to the fact that many employers terminate their employees who get pregnant,
          – etc.
So while I can agree that life is more precious than liberty, you not at the very least acknowledging all that, furthers the disconnect. However, I can also see the counter argument to that, for as anyone who’s familiar with the moral of the story in the movie Spartacus, what’s the meaning of life if you’re not free. In many ways, the Libertarian movement is based on this principle. Namely, that we have certain lines that we won’t allow to be crossed. We literally often say, “Upon my cold dead hands!” for things such as the vaccine mandate, masks, etc. So your further attempt to just brush if off is off-putting to say the least. Last, I wonder how many women have committed suicide due to the shame and to avoid having to go forward with the pregnancy. That’s 2 deaths right there.

gauntlet33: “… while I can agree that life is more precious than liberty, you not at the very least acknowledging all that, furthers the disconnect.”
            .
All of those risks and concerns you cite are of course real and legitimate. I did not think it necessary to have to state that explicitly as these are all well known and can’t be denied.
            .
Of course there are great risks with pregnancy. But there is an even greater risk in – dying. And that’s what happens to a human life snuffed out before it can even taste life for itself.
            .
Risks were willingly taken on by a woman (and man) who freely chose not to use preventive measures. That’s the tragedy of life that many decisions come attached with many consequences that we may not like.
            .
And truth be told… there are great risks to parents who choose to abort their child. This can haunt parents and leave a psychic scar that they must bear for the rest of their lives. Everything about this situation brings risks of many kinds.

I have compassion for parents but more so for the innocents – as I said earlier… we need more compassion here and less legalism.
            .
The fact remains that a precious human life with unlimited potential is denied the opportunity to choose ANYTHING at all. They did not make the choice to die. Someone else did that for them.
            .
This is one of those issues that just tears at the guts of any caring person. As it should.
            .
The Law in certain places in America will still allow for legal abortions to be performed. So abortion will never go away. So no one will ever take ‘Choice’ away. No one, that is, except for the innocent from which ALL choices are taken away forever.
            .
            I appreciate your thoughtful response.

The problem with the Libertarin position on abortion is that it fundamentally ignores the inherent rights of the baby as if it is not a human being. The non-aggression principle still applies to unborn children, and the woman should have kept her legs closed if she didn’t want the inconvenience of the pregnancy process. Libertarians are simply wrong on abortion on almost every level.

          • gauntlet33 November 15, 2024 at 10:09 am

Well, here’s a solution I would propose to appease both sides:
Democrats insist that a woman shouldn’t be forced to carry a baby if she was raped. And although I’ve heard that many rapes go unreported, a law could be passed whereby a woman must report the rape within 2 weeks of the occurrence or be denied the ability to get an abortion at a clinic, which would be required to collect a copy of the police report of the rape incident and which would on a quarterly basis need to submit an accounting of each abortion it performed along with the matching police report, subject to severe penalties for the mother and for the clinic for any fraud. I get that this produces more bureaucracy and more red tape, but without a law and a penalty behind it, there’s it’s all just talk.

If women don’t want babies, they can get their tubes removed with insurance coverage. Not rocket science.

          • Gotheart November 17, 2024 at 7:03 pm

OMG your comment makes me shutter. It’s a woman’s responsibility to take care of her body which includes unplanned pregnancies. No sex! No pregnancy. No need of contraceptives! Self control!

        Connection?
You mean, *God* given Free Will. Correct, our Free Will to choose our “Will to Live”, and our Will to determine – to choose our Spiritual Eternal Destiny.
A Christian Nation has Scripture. God’s *Word is our Conscience, and forever non-negotiable.
*1 Corinthians: “Conscience”….”why is my liberty judged by another’s Conscience”?
It’s not, but God’s Conscience judges all souls.
*Thou shall not kill. No debate.
        – Only a Soldier, Law Enforcement, and self-defense kills, to protect life, the indefensible, the unborn. The line is clear, very clear.
        – Abortion is 100% killing *God’s Innocent Creation. *HIS! > and we are *HIS!
We can only declare that abortion is always murder, before God.
        *God is our non-negotiable “Connection”!
(Mommy & “partner” CHOSE to “possibly get pregnant”, but, God’s LAW is Abstinence or Marrige. Period. God’s Law, or GUILTY – Free Will to Murder)
        *Choice!
        *Repent or Burn In Hell!
        *Eternal Destiny!

The truth is this. And its not pretty but its the truth. As you said Evil exist, and yes the government is full of evil lazy people that could not cut it in the private sector. They seek whatever small power they can have in the government because they lack any real power or faith to a higher purpose. The government sent a clear cut message just like they did at WACO TX in the 90s, The message is this. ” We can come to your house we can kill you and your family and your pets and burn you alive. Because State power will always win we can paint you in whatever way we want and make any lie we want to the Mainstream media So just stay apathetic america Stay docile and you are free to do what we tell you”

The killing of Peanut made me wonder about the existence of a physical evil too. Is it just kind of living in the world with us? It also prompted one of the worst nightmares I have ever had. This cruel deed affected a lot of people who sorrowed for the owners, and then wondered just how much evil was out there and what they could do about it.

A “real dream”? That’s what I call them. Not lucid dreaming. REAL. Lucid dreaming can lead to “real dreaming” by deliberately practicing certain techniques while lucid dreaming. And the real dreams never happened while lucid dreaming. Only at random after or between those attempts. If you read about such things, just don’t even try. I feel blessed to have returned. I spent several years looking through libraries (this was long before the internet, where I’ve never been able to find it) to confirm a symbol I saw in a real dream. I finally found it in the library of a community college in Honolulu: an illustration of a witch’s coven, tattooed on the upper hip of a man. I drew the symbol for a schizophrenic I knew and asked him if he knew what it was. Without skipping a beat he said, “yeah, that’s a Satanic symbol”. Decades later I experienced my fourth real dream. Fortunately, it was good: in the presence of my deceased parents-in-law (yes, there is an afterlife). That was around 15 years ago. I’d be perfectly content to never experience another. FWIW, you will never forget a real dream. Ever.

I’ve never seen the show “Millenium”, or even heard of it. But if its premise is as you describe, I’m intrigued. Evil is both a physical and spiritual reality. And I do mean a physical, tangible reality. I’ve seen it. Thrice. And that was more than enough to sear it into my memory for the last 40+ years. God willing, I never will again. Don’t ever experiment with practices that can open you up to other worlds. It’s not worth it in any way, shape or form. And it can kill you, damn you, or both. A couple years later, I also experienced an epiphany (at a Pink Floyd concert no less, and sober). I’d like to think that that event was a form of salvation. I suspect I’ll know before too many years more have passed.

  • Robert B November 13, 2024 at 9:54 pm

Not religious but the actual Satan of the Bible is spot on. Evil starts with someone hissing in your ear to, supposedly, educate you (eat fruit from the tree of knowledge). These idiots were just educated that they can ruin someone’s day and still be on a higher moral plane.

“A lie can travel half way around the world while the truth is putting on its shoes.” Mark Twain.

Someone needs to re-educate them to hang on for a second to let the truth catch up if they want to be a good person for real.

The squirrel is news to me but sad to hear the guy’s pet was taken and that the guy was essentially burned at the stake.

I did the search “do squirrels get rabies?” and came up with “squirrels are a low risk.” However, I have a cat. He’s my buddy and is quite pleasant (unlike some cats). If he bites me and breaks the skin I’m at risk of getting a serious infection. And it’s not because of rabies. So by the “squirrel logic” the state should take away everyone’s cat.

    • KaD November 14, 2024 at 9:38 am

You don’t need to euthanize an animal to find out IF it has rabies most places will just quaranteen the animal for ten days.

      • AL November 14, 2024 at 11:29 am

Yeah I have no idea but suspect that’s the case. Way more going on than rabies here.

“When government fears the people, there is liberty. When the people fear the government, there is tyranny.”

The Bible lays it all out: the who, the why, the when and how, and the final end. It’s all there, and it offers both hope for the ultimate end of evil, and in the meantime, instruts us on how to defeat it, or rise above it in our own lives.
However, people must recognize it in order to hope to defeat it. And that is perhaps why Peanuts abhorrant death will bring good.
For a change, people saw Evil Uncloaked. Just raw evil and many didn’t like what they saw. That is a good thing, because we know that those people still have their God given conscience intact and working, as opposed to those who were nonpulsed by the spectacle – evil is there, it lurks among us and it takes every opportunity to destroy we beings that are created in God’s image. It is a sign of HOPE that so many people recognized it for what it was.
    Good article.

  • NetRanger November 16, 2024 at 4:46 am

    Brandon,

This article pretty much proves exactly why I read the stuff that you write. You talk about evil finding itself in a crowded room and working across vast distances to do evil. Well, I believe the opposite of evil works the same way. Call it “good” or whatever. I believe we can see it in other people almost instantly. 15 years ago I read your first article on NeitherCorp. Then I watched Sons of Darkness, Sons of Light. I have followed you ever since. I see it in you. I feel it when I read your articles. I pray for your protection. As you said above, once you get their attention, you will suffer. Once again, in your article above, you confirm what I have known since I read your first article 15 years ago. Thank you for what you do. As we work together for good, may my work bless you as much as your work has blessed me. We are and always have been at war with the evil ones, the Sons of Darkness.

  • michael webster November 16, 2024 at 9:55 am

“Rather, this was a subtle and insidious evil that inspires people to simply give
up trying to do good.” Yep.

‘In 1984 Time Magazine ran an article about the results of a mental health survey in America. It was found that rates of sociopathic personality and other mental illness are much higher in those born after the 40’s (when mass vaccination was instituted) than before the 40’s. The CDC, FDA, the American Council on Immunization Practices (ACIP) have all taken the position the “epidemic” is attributable to improved diagnoses…’

    And also

‘According to Dr. Dennis Charney, a Yale psychiatrist, “Victims of a devastating trauma may never be the same biologically. It does not matter if it was the incessant terror of combat, torture, or repeated abuse in childhood, or a one-time experience, like being trapped in a hurricane or nearly dying in an auto accident. All uncontrollable stress can have the same biological impact.” Dr. John Krystal, director of the Laboratory of Clinical Psychopharmacology said, “Say someone being attacked with a knife knows how to defend himself and takes action, while another person in the same predicament thinks, ‘I’m dead.’ The helpless person is the one more susceptible to PTSD afterward.

It’s the feeling that your life is in danger and there is nothing you can do to escape it-that’s the moment the brain change begins.” Most terrorist attacks, including rape, have this element of helplessness in it. One would never think to apply any of this to the act of vaccinating a new born child or a child of two months or four months or six months, the time periods when children are first attacked with needles containing some of the most nasty fluids known to mankind.’
    Mark Sircus, OMD

Can the pain and trauma, of having 1’s foreskin, cut at birth, cause similar results?

  • Serge November 16, 2024 at 11:01 am

Those responsible for Peanut’s death and and the other animals are not only psychopaths but also sadists.

“It’s not only about the squirrel, it’s about the context and what it means for our civilization at large.” Indeed! Very, very relevant point, Brandon!
