If you have been following the progress of Alt-Market’s anti-woke comic book project, we’ve actually been doing pretty well considering it’s our first effort. We have almost 100 backers so far, with 30% of our funding goal, and I thank everyone who has been kind enough to support the concept and give us a chance.
The pace has slowed recently, however, and we need another 25 backers in the next few days to put the project back on the main page of Indiegogo.
The story presents a concept you might not have ever seen before: A freedom minded survivalist hero. When was the last time you saw such a thing? I personally can’t remember. Leftist Hollywood has made us the villains of numerous movies, television shows, comics and other productions and frankly I’m tired of it. If you are also fed up, then help me make something that presents liberty movement people in a different light.
The campaign is open to donations in any amount for those backers that just want to support the effort, or, you can purchase a physical copy of the graphic novel for $25 (for anyone in the US). There is a $10 digital copy for readers outside the US. For more info, please check the CAMPAIGN PAGE HERE.
Click on options at Indiegogo and choose the backing option you want.
We are 1/3 of the way there and I know with the many thousands of readers at Alt-Market we should be able to find at least 25 in the next few days that want to check out a good story and own some fantastic artwork.
Thanks again for your support!
Regards,
Brandon Smith, Founder of Alt-Market
Put you money where your mouth is and help this man out.
Just a reminder, the free issues deal for the Wild Bunch Dispatch is still available. Support the comic project and get free survival info! Here’s a LINK to learn more.
I just donated, Brandon. I am a newer subscriber to your newsletter. I like the graphics in the comic book. It reminds me of the movie ‘Heavy Metal’, which I am old enough to remember when HBO used to play it late at night in the early 1980s. I like your work and your concept on building parallel communities.
I love Heavy Metal (the film) – People had lots of imagination in those times, but also lots of drugs. Not sure if one was completely dependent on the other. I was actually going for a retro feel with this comic and I think the artist, Eric Killius, did a great job.
The art and story are really good. I’m waiting hard for the book to come out!
We’re getting there. We almost have enough funding to do all the ink pages, just not enough to do the coloring. Still have a ways to go on that, but we have 40 days left on the campaign.
I am one of your 25. I ordered the paper version stateside. I hope I will still be here to read it in March of next year. I am going to have to start stockpiling more “supplies” I think. I am beginning to think this country is finished, either by economic collapse, massive natural disaster where “God” puts his thumb on the scales*, civil war and/or maybe a widespread nuclear war**. Time will tell but we can all prepare in the meantime.
*”The Great Lakes will empty into the Gulf of Mexico” said Edgar Cayce – no, it has not happened yet but the New Madrid fault zone like any of them could pop off at any instant – geologists said the continent tried to tear itself apart during the earthquakes of 1811-13.
**”The little yellow man and the bear will knock the eagle from the sky” – In addition to Romanian Christian Dimitru Duduman, some American Indian tribes also have prophecies of the end of the USA in a great end-time war.
I think we have a ways to go yet before we have to worry about doomsday scenarios. Though I am concerned about the end of 2023 and the economic situation.
Simply read the Fall of Empires by Sir John Glubb. America’s best days are behind her and she is destined for an end by 2050.
The question is what comes next when America falls?
2050 is a best case scenario. What I know tells me we will be long gone one way or another before then. A friend of mine who later died in an automobile accident in 1987 once told me “there’s always room for further deterioration”. I guess you could say “rust never sleeps”. The election of Giorgia Meloni in Italy does give some cause for hope in the short run. “Swords will be drawn to prove that leaves are green in Summer” – Meloni quoting Chesterton.
