Gun Rights Are More Important Than False Security And Appeasing Leftists

May 25, 2022

By Brandon Smith

If there is one Holy Grail target that the political left obsesses over more that anything else, it is getting their hands on the 2nd Amendment and molding it to their will or erasing it forever. The pursuit of American gun rights is paramount to them, beyond critical race theory, beyond gender politics, even beyond the abortion debate. The problem for them is that ever since the Obama era they have consistently hit a brick wall in terms of convincing the general public to give another inch of ground when it comes to gun control.

To be sure, there are many reasons for this that coincide. First, the credit crash of 2008 opened many people’s eyes to the possibility that the economic systems we take for granted today could disappear tomorrow. Gun rights were no longer a matter of “tradition,” but a matter of necessity. If the system breaks down and emergency services are overwhelmed or disappear then the only person you can rely on to protect your family is you. Mortal realities always win over emotional and reactionary demands. In other words, the benefits of individual self protection greatly outweigh any potential risks of criminality or abuse.

Second, the advent of the covid mandates, lockdowns and the blatant attempts to implement vaccine passport tyranny upon half the population of this country yet again reinforced the idea that gun rights are more important than ever. Without the unified refusal to comply by conservatives and some moderate Americans, it is highly likely that our nation would be in the same situation as China is right now – A pointless cycle of lockdowns, authoritarian denial of basic services for people that refuse to submit to a highly experimental mRNA vaccine, and even worse supply chain disruptions and financial instability than we already have.

Make no mistake, the reason the US is mostly free from these draconian conditions today is because of the continued existence of the 2nd Amendment and an armed citizenry. Without these things, there is no longer any obstacle to enforcing whatever unconstitutional provisions the establishment wants.

Third, with the advent of the BLM riots, inflationary pressures and rising crime rates, there has been a renewed interest in gun ownership in the US among normies. It’s not just a conservative trend, many democrats have suddenly taken an interest also. There is very little chance that increased gun restrictions are going to happen with the approval of the public. The only way it could even be attempted is through executive order, and many millions of Americans will simply say ‘no’, just as they did with the vaccine passports.

And, let’s be clear about what is really going on: The intention of political elites and the left is not “reasonable gun control.” Their purpose is indeed confiscation.

Incrementalism is the name of the game. Lets not forget what we saw with the covid passports – At first they claimed that there were no plans to institute anything like a vaccine passport system. They said this was “conspiracy theory.” Then, not more than a year later Biden tried to enforce proof of vaccination through executive order. Suddenly, it wasn’t conspiracy theory anymore.

The same strategy has been attempted with gun rights in the past, and they will try to do it again. As with every other Western nation that has restricted gun ownership down to almost nothing, they start with the “scary” semi-auto weapons and work their way down until you have nothing left. Or, until only people with considerable money have the ability to purchase a firearm (which is the case through most of Europe).

I suspect that leftists are not fully opposed to the idea of gun ownership as they often pretend to be. I think they would actually like to retain their own guns if possible, they just don’t want people like you and I to have them. Selective gun confiscation would be their ideal, which is the same exact strategy used by the Nazis, who selectively outlawed gun ownership for Jewish citizens and anyone politically opposed to the Third Reich but let all other Germans keep their weapons.

I would note that whenever gun crimes and mass murders are committed by people that are ideologically opposed to conservatives, the media and leftists often conveniently stop caring about taking action. They only seem to care when the crime can be associated with their political enemies.

We all know that leftists constantly argue that conservatives are inherently dangerous. It only takes one more step for them to claim that conservative thought is in itself a “mental illness” and that our guns should be taken by default. But let’s talk about REAL mental illness for a moment, shall we?

Let’s talk about recent active shooters like Payton Gendron with bizarre political and ideological beliefs that have nothing to do with conservative principles. Democrats like AOC and Chuck Schumer immediately tried to link Gendron, the Buffalo grocery store shooter, to conservatives and the Republican party. Yet, in only a few days time they were suddenly silent about the whole event and the media was oddly quiet. But why?

As it turns out, Gendron’s philosophies were entirely socialist, with tinges of fascism and communism within the same framework. In fact, Gendron stated on multiple occasions that he hated conservatives and identified himself as an “eco-fascist.” He also had a history of reports concerning his mental health and safety. The media’s focus on “replacement theory” was a clear distraction from the real issue at hand. Their assertion was that if you are critical of illegal immigration, then you are automatically a racist and share an ideological boat with people like Payton Gendron. But then, their narrative fell apart when it became obvious that Gendron was actually anti-conservative.

In the case of Salvador Ramos, details are still emerging about the Texas school shooter and his affiliations, but some information has been leaked despite the media’s quick move to control the narrative. For example, Ramos is not the white conservative monster the leftists need to fulfill their narrative requirements. Photos are also in circulation allegedly taken from his social media accounts which suggest he was transgendered and identified as “they/them.” I’ll stress here though that his social media accounts have been completely scrubbed and right now there is no way to confirm that this claim is true. Why his accounts were removed so quickly is not clear, but surely we will know more in the next couple of days.

Leftists are swiftly moving to refute any possibility that Ramos was transgendered; maybe they are right, maybe not. They were also very quick to deny that Darrell Brooks Jr., the mass killer that ran down a parade of people with his car in Waukesha, WI, was a supporter of BLM. But, as it turned out initial reports by internet sleuths were correct. Suddenly, leftists were fielding arguments that he was “pushed” to commit the crime by “institutional racism.”

If it turns out that Ramos did in fact identify as trans, then the media message will surely change once again. I have no doubt there will be a move to defend Ramos as a tragic figure, rather than a monster, and the blame will be placed on the state of Texas and their legislative actions to stop transgender policies from invading their public school system.

The point is, there is no connection between gun rights supporters or conservatives and gun crime as leftists often claim. I can find just as many if not more incidences of mass murder perpetrated by leftists.

The common thread between all of these killers and events is not guns or gun rights. Rather, it is blatant signs of mental illness and ideological zealotry. The media will not address this issue, and political puppets like Joe Biden will not address it either. Remember, the goal is gun confiscation, not public safety. If they actually cared about public safety then the mental illness connection would not be ignored.

It is also important to point out that such tragedies are not limited to the US as some gun grabbers would like you to believe. Numerous mass murder incidences have taken place in Europe and Asia despite strict gun control. Many people have forgotten the mass murder of French citizens in Paris in November of 2015 by Islamic militants with AK47s. Or, how about the mass killing of Spanish citizens by Muslim terrorists in Barcelona in 2017 using a moving truck?

Another factor which is almost always present during mass murder events is that most of them occur in gun free zones; places where carrying by law abiding citizens is denied or frowned upon. If we are going to address the issue of mass murder, we cannot ignore the commonalities of mental illness and gun free areas. The existence of guns in civilian hands is not the problem, if it were then mass murders would be a daily occurrence in every community in the country. However, this does not stop leftists from trying to exploit every tragedy as an opportunity to attack gun rights.

They don’t care about nuance or honest solutions, they just want guns out of the hands of people they don’t like. The establishment also wants guns out of public hands for obvious reasons; it makes it much easier to erode other parts of the constitution when the 2nd Amendment is no longer a deterrent. Joe Biden argues that Americans “need to stand up to the gun lobby” in the wake of the Texas shooting, but the gun lobby has nothing to do with these events either. The biggest gun lobby in the US is the American people standing in defense of their freedoms, and they have committed no crime.

At bottom, no gun owner or gun rights advocate is to blame for what happened in New York or Texas this past week. We didn’t commit the crimes, but the assertion is that we should be punished anyway. Well, I’m not going to allow that, and millions of conservatives and liberty minded people are not going to allow it. The appeal for new gun control measures and confiscation is aimed at the political left, and it is designed to make them feel better about the reality of tragedy. It’s a false silver bullet solution (no pun intended). It doesn’t address the real causes of mass violence, it only makes us more vulnerable to it.

Frankly, I don’t care if leftists feel better, or feel like they accomplished something when they did not. I also know that increased gun control is exciting to many of them simply because it goes against the values of people they hate – i.e. conservatives. The fact is this: No matter what tragedy arises, our right to self defense overall is more important than appeasing the emotions of the moment. We won’t be giving up our guns. It’s not going to happen. They think we will capitulate given enough threats or enough pressure, and they are wrong. It will not end well for them.

Other solutions need to be explored because the path to a revision or erasure of the 2nd Amendment, whether by legislation or by executive order, is nothing more than a path to civil war. It’s time to move on from the foolish notion that taking away guns from everyone (or just the people we disagree with politically) solves the underlying causes of mass murder. It doesn’t remove the motivation, nor does it even remove the means, it only sets the stage for a conflict that leftists will find impossible to win.

I’d wager all of the above is very cold comfort to the families of the nineteen children killed in Texas.

I would wager that at least some of the parents desperately wish right now that teachers on site had been armed so that their children might still be alive today. That gun free zone made their kids easy targets. Constitutional liberties are not meant to give comfort from crime, just the opportunity to defend one’s self against it.

Brandon, did you know that every UK school is a gun-free zone, as are virtually all of our government institutions? Did you know that schools in Germany, France, Japan, Italy, Spain, and many other countries, are gun-free zones, yet they do not suffer the on-going threat of children being slaughtered? Why do you suppose that is?

Did you know that the UK has one of the highest rates of knife attacks and deaths in Europe, and that this violence has expanded into the UK public school system? Did you know that Europe has suffered multiple mass murders by guns and other means over the past decade despite your gun control measures, and that when this happens you have no means to fight back, just like the teachers in that gun free school in Texas? Just because a country is a gun free zone to law abiding citizens does not mean it is gun free for criminals. Also, the UK is a joke comparison because it is a tiny island and it is easier to lock down the flow of weapons there than on a CONTINENT. Did you know that the UK and Europe are under defacto control of corporate elitists with zero chance of escape because you are disarmed and have no ability to rebel?

You are in the UK and are clearly happy to be enslaved, but we here in America think it is worth the risk of potential gun crime so that we may retain the tools to keep our freedoms. There are much bigger concerns than a handful of school attacks over the course of a decade. The views of outside nations are irrelevant, because you have no freedoms, only privileges that can be taken away at any given moment as we just saw with covid.

          • Rodster May 26, 2022 at 10:34 am

Thank you for teaching anti-gun idiots. You are totally correct about knife attacks. A few years ago SkyNews U.K. had coverage of knife attacks. Let’s not forget Jo Cox MEP who was killed by a knife welding lunatic or more recently conservative David Amess.

Yet we don’t hear a mass uproar to ban knives in the UK. It doesn’t matter wether it’s a gun, knife, club, brick etc. If a person wants to kill they’ll find a way to do it. Have we forgotten how in Europe, people were using trucks or buses to kill people in crowds?

Never EVER, give up your damn RIGHT to own a gun. Guns were put in the constitution to protect us not from our neighbors but from Government. The framers and founding fathers were forward thinkers. Now more than ever, it has become a neccessity because the Federal and State governments no longer are working for “We The People”. All they care about is more and more power and centralized control.

Kids as young as 10 in London say one of their biggest fears is being stabbed on the way to school or at school:

Despite what you see on TV, the UK and Germany are still largely majority White. Far more so than the USA, where the DIE has been underscored with Diversity.

        • Steve May 29, 2022 at 12:40 pm

Who knows, Ben? But my home town of Croydon, just south of London, has one of the highest knife crime rates in Europe.

      • Keith May 26, 2022 at 3:12 pm

….or that the police hadn’t actually stopped people that were willing to go in and stop the shooter….
The police aided and abetted the murder by holding everyone off for more than 40 minutes (and, of course, would not interfere themselves). Till a border guard rushed in and did the job.
        Cowards or accomplices…..not sure yet.

    • Gauntlet33 May 25, 2022 at 12:11 pm

Ben, I haven’t delved into the facts of this shooting, but the timing of it, and other factors make me wonder if it’s another Sandy Hook event with “crisis actors”…
      ..
And like Brandon said, I wonder how many people go shooting up a school (or anywhere else for that matter) if they know that teachers and administrators may be armed. My guess is pretty close to an infinitesimally small zero.

Brandon Smith May 25, 2022 at 12:25 pm

I would be very careful about throwing out the old “crisis actor” theory on these shootings, it could make us look foolish. Understand that when you present this theory the burden of proof is on YOU; you have to show evidence that supports the claim. It is not up to other people to somehow prove that the event is “not a false flag”, it’s up to you to prove that it is. My position is this – If it was a false flag, why not just use a real shooter killing real people? It’s much easier than trying to fabricate an event with crisis actors.

        • Gauntlet33 May 26, 2022 at 5:30 pm

Hey Brandon, good point, and after hearing more facts, I believe I clearly jumped the gun on this one as it appears to be real, and not staged. With that said, the timing still makes me wonder if the shooter was under the control of the MK Ultra program — it’s true that I have zero facts to prove this, but the lack of any motive is very suspicious, and the fact that the shooter was killed at the scene rules out any real chance to dig into his motivations for these otherwise senseless killings.

This one reminds me a lot of the Aurora Theater shootings, so you might be onto something there. Also, I’m not sure if anyone has answered this question yet, but who ordered those cops in Texas to stay out of the school and to keep the parents out? I would be curious to find out who made that call?

          • Gauntlet33 May 27, 2022 at 12:16 pm

            Hey Brandon, good questions.
            ..
If there’s a live shooter, shouldn’t law enforcement immediately rush in to target the shooter to minimize the death count against defenseless victims? …Not if the purpose is to maximize the death count to push the anti-gun agenda.
            ..
And yes, it is a bit reminiscent of Aurora. Generally speaking, I think it makes sense that the vast majority of people, if they want to get some type of revenge, do so against those that directly hurt them. So I would argue that a high schooler going to an elementary school for a shooting makes zero sense. And shooting his grandma too? Assuming he wasn’t molested by her or something else tragic like that, who hates their grandma (especially enough to want to kill her)?
            ..
The whole thing is just so fishy. Last, Mike Adams also asserts that it was a “planned stand down operation”:
            https://healthrangerreport.com/situation-update-may-27-2022-uvalde-massacre-was-a-planned-stand-down-operation-involving-corrupt-cops-and-us-federal-marshals

          Or real with support actors.

        • Gauntlet33 June 1, 2022 at 1:53 pm

From ZH: “The Texas Department of Public Safety said Uvalde school district’s police chief Pete Arredondo, who made the decision to wait for more resources rather than confront the gunman sooner, has stopped cooperating with state investigators and had not responded to requests for information for over two days.”
If it’s true that Arredondo ordered officers to “stand-down”, I would advise the parents of that school to sue him and the City for: wrongful death, intentional and negligent inflection of emotional distress, etc. He should further be immediately terminated / forced to resign, and I would argue that he should be prosecuted for manslaughter. What a monster!

      • dipdooo May 26, 2022 at 12:13 am

This one looks real, as compared to the very odd SH shooting.

      • Ben May 26, 2022 at 3:24 am

Gauntlet, where I live, school shootings (indeed, gun violence in general) is very rare, as it is across many countries of a similar social-economic background to the USA. Currently, the US murder rate per 100,000 people with guns *alone* exceeds the total *combined* murder rates of the UK, France and Germany. Mass shootings are incredibly rare in the UK, France and Germany. They are incredibly rare in Japan, Italy, Canada, Australia, Italy, and Spain. That is not to say any of those countries are perfect, or don’t have other issues, but when my daughter goes to school, she does not have to endure ‘active shooter drills’, or anything remotely as traumatic as that.

        • Avatar photo
Brandon Smith May 26, 2022 at 3:36 am

The population of those three countries combined is barely half of the US population. Also, I find it interesting that you are ignoring the numerous mass murder events in Europe despite the existence of strict gun laws. Again, schools are attacked specifically in the US because the majority of them are gun free environments by law. There is not a single instance of a school that allows firearms for teachers being attacked, and many of them do exist here.

          • Ben May 26, 2022 at 3:42 am

I am referring to murder ‘rates’, as opposed to the raw numbers. The murder ‘rate’ per 100,000 people in France is around 1.2 per 100,000 people as of 2020. In the USA it was 6.3. Around 80% of US murders involve guns.

I do not ignore the ‘numerous’ mass murder events you speak of – though I would be curious to see what your sources are, and whether it truly stacks up that they are as frequent as US mass murders. Moreover, I’d be curious as to whether European mass attacks reach the same level of bloodshed as in the US. I assume you can provide that information, as you have made the claim that Europe is as violent as the States.

          • Avatar photo

Yes, and if you have a pool in your backyard then you are more likely to drown, statistically speaking. Interesting that you are ignoring the statistical highs in knife attacks and deaths in the UK among the many other means of violence perpetrated in Europe. The gun is irrelevant, murders still happen to great degree in your country and mass shootings are still a regular occurrence in Europe. It also depends on how you define “mass shooting”, the US has pretty low standards of 3 people injured or killed by a gun in the same event. European countries do not calculate their standards the same.

A simple google search proves that gun control does not stop mass murder events from occurring in Europe. If you are talking about gun deaths per capita, then the US is actually in the middle of the list, while Norway is at the top:

Knife murders by country – The US is at the BOTTOM of the list. UK and France are in the middle of the list.

            https://worldpopulationreview.com/country-rankings/stabbing-deaths-by-country

Pre-Covid, the UK was dealing with an exponential rise in knife crime. Hardly a safe place given you have no means to defend yourselves from this if an assailant is bigger or faster than you. I’m betting all those people killed by knives in the UK were wishing they had a gun at the time to defend themselves:

Thanks for all the data, Brandon. Another gun grabber crushed by facts. He doesn’t understand that gun crime isn’t relevant to gun rights. In Europe, something bad happens and they immediately take individual rights away as if that is a normal reaction. We retain the rights regardless of what crimes take place. If you want to say there’s more gun crime in the US because there’s more guns, then I would say “so what?” We also have more freedom here because we have more guns. Looking at those pathetic simps in the EU still under mask mandates and submitting to the vax reminds me why I love the US and access to firearms. Like you said, their freedoms can be taken at any time while ours cannot.

      • Chevrus May 26, 2022 at 6:38 am

Just gonna chime in and say that there are multiple examples with compelling evidence to support the notion that mass casualty events are staged, faked or both. This is not a fringe lunatic theory, it is backed by evidence and testimony. This is not to detract from real peoples actual suffering.

Not saying that such events don’t exist, just that often when people make the claim they have no hard evidence to back it, only theories.

      • James June 1, 2022 at 9:59 pm

I did a lot of research into the Sandy Hook incident because things didn’t look right. What I found just reinforced my belief that the number of murders claimed in the 2012 FBI Crime Stat Report for Newtown is correct.
        https://ucr.fbi.gov/crime-in-the-u.s/2012/crime-in-the-u.s.-2012/tables/8tabledatadecpdf/table-8-state-cuts/table_8_offenses_known_to_law_enforcement_by_connecticut_by_city_2012.xls

This incident in Texas happened as far as any evidence shows. What is very suspect is the lack of reaction by the police. I read an account that claimed the shooter was locked inside the room by either staff or police so he would be contained.

That evil NRA spends a few million in lobbying each year. How about pharma?

Also how much does pharma spend on advertising each year? Here’s 2019

You may win that wager or maybe not. It’s not about gun control, it’s about a murderer. When the Press and government coldly try to make the act of murder about gun control, then they are the cold-hearted tyrants who do not care about the little ones or you. Their way, their will, your slavery (murder) is what they are after. Murder is murder regardless of means. Fortunately, at least the perpetuator is dead. I’ll wager that not one other precious soul is in danger from him.

You just need to look at Australia, Canada, and New Zealand for examples of what the USA might be today without the Second Amendment.

All did gun grabs for public safety in recent years. Most were after “tragic incidents.”

    • Chevrus May 25, 2022 at 9:49 am

It is worth noting that quite a few of these tragic accidents are demonstrably false, that is to say they are drills where nobody is killed and then passed off as actual murder. Example: The mosque shooting in NZ, and the Buffalo supermarket shooting. Both are “first person shooter” footage, and in the case of the most recent one in Buffalo, the people being shot are not being hit with actual bullets. It is quite clear that blanks are being used. Why you might ask? Well it turns out that if you are trying to stage an event to commit atrocities it is much easier and safer if you don’t actually kill people as this lessens the amount of accountability incurred.

      • Gauntlet33 May 25, 2022 at 12:14 pm

Chevrus, great point. I saw the video of the alleged shooting in Buffalo and it’s totally fabricated. No one was shot or killed.

        • Chevrus May 26, 2022 at 6:53 am

As per Brandons suggestion i am careful not to run my mouth, as these events are specifically designed to generate not only outrage but peer censorship…’how dare you!’ and all that. Given the lockstep of the MSM, it is relatively easy to relegate an independent perspective to the fringe with the usual ‘conspiracy theorist’ tactics. Thus it is essential to provide compelling evidence. For example, when analyzing the Brooklyn subway event the little footage that exists (yes cameras seemed not to be working) is from participants and it clearly shows people exiting in relative calm from the train car after over 13 weapons discharges in a confined space, and then sitting down and taking selfies. Then a voice on the intercom orders them back into the cars…thus: a drill. Upon further examination one can see the handler, complete with hoodie and backpack just hangin out making sure things go smoothly. My point is that these frauds are often hidden in plain sight, but due to MSM dominance the chosen narrative dominates.

      • Daniel V May 26, 2022 at 6:42 am

Seriously, their tactics never change. How long ago the anti gun agenda was initiated against us with mass shootings as a cover up. High health, columbine, and montreal vocational college (yes the last one is part of canada and not the us but still counts imo.) anyone? Once done with enough research, you can clearly see that regardless if certain shootings are false flags or not, the political left will do anything they can to chip away the 2nd admendment. The same agenda has already been overplayed for years now, what makes them think that the other more than half of americans will still cave in?

Also speaking of the anti 2nd admendment agenda , the hughes admendment and assault weapons bans (1986) also marked the first time where it became VERY apparant that the atf and other alphabet agencies have become our enemies. I often considered these laws either stage 0 or stage 1 of starting a disarment scheme in the us. This also happened during the time of the reagan era, you know, the era where americans remember fondly. The day that the hughes admendment and assault weapons ban burn will probably be one of the best things that will ever happen in a new america.

True. Some of the worst covid authoritarianism outside of China took place in those countries.

Right. And what rights do the unvaccinated have if those rights cannot be enforced. Congress certainly does not represent the will of the people.

I’m sure you’ve heard about the proposed Federal Firearms Licensing Act Biden’s trying to push through as well as the ATF’s changing the rules regarding receivers and frames so that even 80% lowers can be classified as firearms.

If you ask me I think it all has to do with more people building their own firearms at home via buying parts and assembling them at home to circumvent bgc required for purchasing the whole gun as well as half the country adopting constitutional carry. I remember reading about American revolutionaries used what were essentially ghost guns as they didn’t have any indicators as to who manufacturers were making impossible for British authorities to trace the manufacturers. I can see a similar parallel with what the feds are trying to do with 80 lowers and homemade firearms.

And even if they did get these things passed, good luck trying to enforce them outside of the big cities and blue states. The Left won’t be the only ones picking a fight they can’t win. This all reeks of desperation on their parts.

    Cato,
Well, put. And let’s not forget the eighty-five billion or so in weapons, monies, and equipment left in Afghanistan. I’m sure our enemies won’t use it against us or anyone else and will be returning it to us as soon as they work out the logistics.

  • David Homer May 25, 2022 at 9:33 am

Aside from the push for gun control, this incident highlights another problem that has progressively gotten worse. It seems we will be denied the access to information about anything that happens unless it fits the leftist agenda. Truth is a valuable commodity that is getting harder and harder to find. That is why I value your articles Brandon.

  • tuesdayisotlentgreenday May 25, 2022 at 9:46 am

This article is comfort to me.. A law abiding Gun owner that had nothing to do with the mass killings anywhere. How does banning guns in Nebraska or Alaska make Texas safer or vice versa.

Now how many laws did the shooter break before he fired one round?
Gun Free zone ( how is that working since passage)
    Underage for a handgun
Until America stands and grows a backbone, kicks out the liberal cry baby school rules and puts God, yes God .. the Father The Son The Holy Spirit.. back in the room and has real school security, not Barney Fife…. then thigs will turn around. But Gun control will not work… I will not comply…

  • Serge May 25, 2022 at 10:37 am

I wouldn’t be surprised if the “massacres” in Texas and other places lately are false flags to justify the idea of a temporary suspension of the 2nd Amendment (cf. Newton, Aurora, Virginia Tech, etc.) or to suspend certain constitutionally protected citizen freedoms in the US or other Western countries (e.g., Australia during CV19).
Temporary suspensions that eventually become permanent; right R. Nixon? And, What about “temporary” inflation?
P.S. Regarding Paris (France) on November 13, 2015, earlier in the day, an anti-terrorist exercise had been organized by the French security services…
P.S. 2: The date regarding the French massacre, 11/13/15, was “hidden” in the special edition of the cover “The Economist, The World in 2015”. A coincidence? In my opinion, not at all!

I might add that one scene was complete with tape marks for the car to move to (See: filmmaking) accompanied by a point blank headshot in 7.62 with no blood or even the slightest disturbance. Things that make you go hmmmmmmm….

    • Michael May 25, 2022 at 11:07 am

      All,
Good points. And thanks again to Brandon for inspiring a lively discussion. Let’s remember the end games, though. The incidents are the catalysts and not the intended goals. The intended goals are the chipping away of our Constitution.

    • Ol Grey Ghost May 25, 2022 at 1:59 pm

They don’t have to use false flags if they just leave everything open with weak defenses. Leave a bag of nuts out unprotected and eventually some squirrels will attack them. Makes a good bait for catching the dog when you trap the squirrel first…

  • kmose May 25, 2022 at 11:29 am

If decent people give up their guns, that would leave only criminals with guns. Criminals are unimpeded by permits or background checks. But I am not necessarily disparaging outlaws. At a certain point as a society declines the good men and women all wind up being classified as criminals. Jesus was executed as a criminal. Decent folks have got to stop conflating intelligence with obedience. People have to come to grips with the fact that always obeying the law and paying all taxes is no longer something to be proud of.

  • Gauntlet33 May 25, 2022 at 12:22 pm

“If decent people give up their guns, that would leave only criminals with guns. Criminals are unimpeded by permits or background checks.” Yup! That’s exactly what Leftists completely fail to understand until the incoming bullet is 6 inches from their face — and even then I’m not sure they get it.

  • Ol' Grey Ghost May 25, 2022 at 1:39 pm

I’m sure everyone has seen those videos where CGI is used to show the comparative sizes of large cosmological objects against each other. First the Earth with the Moon orbiting it compared to Jupiter, then Jupiter to our Sun, then our Sun to a larger star compared to yet another larger star and so forth.

Yesterday, 40 to 50 million of what our looney left brethren would call “Assault Weapons” did not shoot or kill anyone. Millions of school children went home with no greater injury than what the local bully did to them in the rest room. In the greater scheme of things, yesterday’s events were a tiny blip in the whole of violence of man-vs.-man on this planet.

To outlaw firearms and abolish the 2nd Amendment is a mega-ton of prevention for an ounce of cure. As I learned as a soldier in the Army and as a Texas Peace Officer, one cannot control the attack as that privilege belongs to one’s adversary. But one can harden the target which is what we control. Allowing faculty, staff, administrators, and parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and any other adult with a legitimate purpose to be on campus, to carry a sidearm like anywhere else they go in Texas would be a good place to start. Where it has been tried, it has worked, but I’m sure it won’t go state- or nation-wide because these type of shootings feed the narrative, and as some have already mentioned, that seems to be the most important part…

  • Gauntlet33 May 25, 2022 at 2:57 pm

Brandon: “The point is, there is no connection between gun rights supporters or conservatives and gun crime as leftists often claim. I can find just as many if not more incidences of mass murder perpetrated by leftists.”
    ..
Exactly. As I believe you said before, Leftists hate an even playing field or a fair fight as they are cowards who only shoot in “no gun zones” against the defenseless. And 2A gun rights create that even playing field.

  • JohnPaul May 25, 2022 at 9:35 pm

Biden doesn’t need to worry about the gun lobby. He needs to worry about gun owners.

ATF just said 700 million guns in circulation. The numbers are against them.

The Russians couldn’t take Kiev and you don’t have enough Jackbooted THUGS with badges to take our guns.

Biden has always been a loudmouth THUG SOB!

I will not comply with registration or voluntarily surrender my guns.

    I am the Militia.

    • Daniel V May 26, 2022 at 6:51 am

They also have to worry about, you know, the ever increasing popularity of 3d printed and ghsot guns they haven’t even identified. They’re seriously delusional if they think if they are going to even confiscate little more than 10% of them. Even then, it’s highly unlikely as I doubt a good amount of americans will give up their guns.

      • Daniel V May 26, 2022 at 6:51 am

        *ghost, sorry for the mispelling

    • Steve May 29, 2022 at 12:47 pm

Exactly, John Paul. The Left can pass as many anti-gun laws as they want but they will never away take the guns of freedom loving Americans. Because when it comes down to taking the guns, someone will have physically have to do it. And who will that be? The useless police we saw in Ulvade and Broward who were terrified of one armed kid? The local sheriff who has to live among the gun owners? Our pussified army who couldn’t even see of a bunch of goatherders armed with 70s AK-47s? Never going to happen. I almost hope they try.

I agree with Brandon that this is a war the Globalists cannot possibly win. To do so, they’ll have to come after us “strays.” If they do so, we’ll be waiting. And they and their lackeys will be annihilated.

    • mongoos May 25, 2022 at 11:22 pm

Don’t know what happened, but this portion of my comment didn’t post:

Moscow fell during WW I not from a lack of weapons to defend it, but from the lying guile of the Reds. Ten thousand Reds took Moscow and were opposed only by some few hundreds of officer cadets and their instructors. Even then the battle was fierce and losses high. However, in the city alone, at that time, lived over 30,000 military officers (both active and retired), all with their own issued weapons and ammunition, plus tens of thousands of other citizens who were armed. The Soviets promised to leave them all alone if they did not intervene. They did not and for that were asked afterwards to come register themselves and their weapons — where they were promptly shot. Do not be fooled by a belief that progressives, leftists hate guns. Oh, no, they do not. What they hate is guns in the hands of those who are not marching in lock step of their ideology. They hate guns in the hands of those who think for themselves and do not obey without question. They hate guns in those whom they have slated for a bullet to the back of the ear. There are few things to admire about the socialist, bankrupt and culturally degenerating USA, but at least so far, one thing remains: the right to bear arms and use deadly force to defend one’s self and possessions. -Russian blogger Stanislav Mishin

Once again Brandon, another fantastic article that highlights the true agenda these globalists are trying to accomplish.

One off topic question I want to ask in regards to the globalist agenda is the monkey pox scheme. Although you may obviously know this Mr.Smith, but it seems they are already going to repeat the same crisis that they’ve already done with covid. From what I’m guessing, it’s probably going to be release atleast by mid summer (July) or september. The most notable info to me is that they’re doing this at the same time as the food storages and economic crash. Again, the globalists, some leftists, and luciferians are getting very impatitent. Like my previous comment, they hate the fact that half of the country is still fighting back. I wonder have everything is going to play out by the time they unleashed it. Being in NJ, I think it will be a very nasty site for federal tyranny.

Food in my opinion will be the trigger that pushes the button for the final attack on the 2A. Depending upon what source you use, there is about a 10-week supply of wheat world wide. Russia exports 30% of the grain to the world and spring planting is way behind schedule.
Oil is needed to make fertilizer.

You want your family to eat, hand in your firearms…

    • Daniel V May 26, 2022 at 12:57 pm

Which why everyone should have emergency food supplies and gardening as a skill, along with knowing any trusted food traders. As Brandon mentioned on that article, “Preparedness today costs nothing tomorrow. Lack of preparedness today costs EVERYTHING tomorrow. The choice for anyone with a brain is simple – Get prepared for the end of affordable and easily available food before this year is out.”. Fear of getting hungry and don’t want to be disarmed? Learn gardening immediately and have as many emergency food supplies and seeds whenever possible.

      • Gauntlet33 May 26, 2022 at 1:58 pm

Hey Daniel V, hope you’re doing well, and I hope you read my reply in Brandon’s previous article.
Also, I noticed you mentioned seeds, so I’m guessing you’re also a follower of the Ice Age Farmer…
Anyway, you seem like a very bright kid. Hopefully your generation will stamp out the seeds of communism wherever it sees them.

        • Daniel V May 26, 2022 at 5:28 pm

Hello Gauntlet33. Thank you for your kind comment. Unfortunately, my relationship with my family has become far worse. They have fully put their trust on the leftist agenda and are currently either blaming video games or guns on the recent shooting. They all are so anti gun and want to have them banned , as they think no “normal” person should own a gun. This makes me so angry that they keep falling for the same lies over and over again, they have shown how ignorant they are in regards to why we have the 2nd admendment. I can no longer reason with my family, it’s too much, they are forever lost in the leftist void. Also just recently, there was a large riot that happen within long branch, nj back on sunday. For me, that was the writing in the wall that I cannot stay in nj for any longer and must leave BEFORE september. The sad part is, my parents don’t see this. The only thing they see is wanting me to go into a college in the middle of a ongoing socialist crisis for my “greater good and future”. It’s honestly become so bad that I honestly believe at this point that I’ll either die, get enslaved, or be sent to a reducation center if I keep trusting my parents. I am in a very critical situation. I honestly feel very alone for the time being.

          • Daniel V May 26, 2022 at 5:34 pm

Still though, I still have hope that I will be able to make it through. I also have hope that the globalists and feds will pay for their crimes one day.I know that prepping is extremely crucial, but again, my parents will think I’m crazy and will prevent me for doing it at any cost. Again, finding a conservative group within nj is my only option at this point. If you and anyone else have any reccomendations on what I could do now, it will be great.

          • Gauntlet33 June 1, 2022 at 2:02 pm

            Daniel,
The problem that your parents seem to have is that although they have good intentions, they don’t realize the planned agenda.
Also, I hear you on wanting to leave to avoid their indoctrination, but I would consider what you get from your parents. If you’re getting free rent, then perhaps it makes sense to stay for a little longer, save a little money, and then move out. Whatever you do, have something lined up for yourself for wherever you move to.
I totally get you on how Leftists don’t want anyone to prep…it’s as if they feel like if others prep, then they should also, and it bothers them that they have to take action and worry as they prefer to live in blissful ignorance. I had a situation where I bought a 21 cubic foot chest freezer for the garage (in my own house) and my mother thought I was crazy.

    • Soldisr June 1, 2022 at 8:53 am

Why not take food from the fema camps rather than beg them for it. If you give in you might be fed for a years even. However I doubt that long. But even if you get fed for a few years you will be culled.

  • bhk4usa May 28, 2022 at 10:00 am

There is no constitutionally compliant means to impose ‘gun control’ limitations within the framework of the 2nd Amendment as currently written. Those that wrote and ratified the 2nd American intentionally made it unilateral and generic. Basically it says the government may not impose any limits, restrictions, or requirements on the people’s right to own and use the weapons necessary for the people to overcome the military force of a tyrannical government.

No negotiating or wiggle room. The standard political practice of nibbling around the edges to circumvent and ‘work around’ the limitations on government authority and power are entirely un-Constitutional. Just because these practices have been done for years and years does not make them legal.

The only way for the globalist ‘democrats’ and ‘republicans’ alike to legally infringe in any way on the people’s right to keep and bear arms would in fact for the 2nd Amendment to itself be amended or completely repealed. The globalists know they will never be able to get such an amendment or repeal proposed in Congress, passed by 2/3rds of both the House and Senate, and ratified by 3/4’s of the States.

They also know that, should such an amendment or repeal make it through ratification, the ‘government’ would be on the receiving end of a demonstration of exactly why the 2nd Amendment was added in the first place.

    • Steve May 29, 2022 at 12:51 pm

Even if they repealed the 2A, so what? Do you think patriots would suddenly say, “Oh, my! They’ve trashed 2A. Let’s all put our guns under a steam roller!”? As the general situation worsens and people realize that the cops won’t help them, people will cling even tighter to their guns.

      • bhk4usa May 30, 2022 at 7:13 pm

Steve, If they were somehow able to get the 2A repealed I doubt that even 0.001% of ‘law abiding’ gun owners would submit to any new ‘gun control’ attempts implemented by the very institutions the 2A is intended to allow people the right to protect themselves from.

Yet it is very very rare that in today’s so very politically correct atmosphere that we actually hear any of the self-appointed elites discuss the fact that preserving the right to protect oneself from government tyranny was the primary reason for the 2A.

When it is brought up it is treated as farce because “our government would never be so tyrannical that the citizens would need to defend themselves”. That statement alone is reason enough for people to retain the means of protecting themselves and their rights. With or without the 2A curbing the government’s ability to infringe on those rights.

Hey Brandon – this has been circulating online and I’m wondering if you have any thoughts on it? Nyquist made the prediction that China would invade last year and it didn’t happen… I personally find it highly improbable. But hey, what do I know? Nyquist says “D-Day” invasion would be Nov. 1st. With over 130,000,000 Americans armed, China has got to be stupid to try this.

It’s not going to happen. China does not have the navy necessary to invade any overseas country. They would invade Taiwan, and may try to lure the US into a quagmire, but invasion of the US is impossible for them. That said, a UN invasion with a green light from Biden is indeed a possibility if and when there is a rebellion against authoritarianism. And, you could see some Chinese troops mixed into such an invasion, but only due to UN sanction. Frankly, I don’t understand the bizarre obsession some people in liberty circles have with China. They are a puppet country like any other; the globalists are who we need to worry about.

      • bhk4usa May 30, 2022 at 7:20 pm

Brandon, Could not agree any more strongly with your position. At this time I think there are multiple factions within the globalist ‘tent’ that are working in ‘unity’ to advance the globalist agenda. I think some of the groups and nations have different visions of who will be in control once the transition to a Global State has been achieved.

If I did not believe that there is a very great likelihood that the globalists will be prevented from reaching their goals it could be interesting watching from very high above when they start turning on each other.

  • Rodster May 29, 2022 at 12:22 am

One thing the anti-gun lobby who dismiss knife attacks and killings is that a good majority of the knives sold today are not to butter bread or slice your favorite steak.

Their primary purpose is to injure, maim or kill. There are many knives the are purchased just for protection. Many of the knives the UK Police took in were not kitchen utensils. They were the type to do serious damage to vital organs.
