In past issues of the Wild Bunch I have discussed a number of methods for creating secure communications, including encrypted comms that can defeat advanced military interception and decryption efforts. However, a lot of these methods require Ham operator knowledge and experience, and the learning curve on the technology can be daunting.
As a General Class Ham, I am well aware that information on communication tactics is often layered in gear-head babble and confusing terminology. Many times this is by design, to keep people outside of Ham circles from learning anything useful. In the next issue of the newsletter I am going to demystify a lot of this information and give you a brand new and very easy to use setup for secure comms on any radio at any range. This kit will allow for easy encryption with only two steps.
I will even have a setup specifically for people who DON’T have a Ham license but want to practice these methods. So, be sure not to miss the next installment.
