The Reasons Why Leftists Will Never Successfully Disarm Americans

April 22, 2021

By Brandon Smith

Gun confiscation has always been the Holy Grail of totalitarian regimes. Without disarmament, fully centralized control of a population is not possible. And though it is true that not every evil regime seeks to disarm every single citizen (at least not right away), they always disarm the people they specifically intend to hurt the most.

For example, gun control advocates today like to point out that the Third Reich in Germany did not disarm the entire German population. This is a rather bizarre position for leftists as they continually wail and scream about Nazis around every corner and behind every tree, but they will STILL defend their gun grabbing policies by arguing that the Nazis were not as bad as conservatives assume. Of course, what they rarely mention is that the Nazis DID disarm millions of people; most of them Jews and political opponents under 1938 German gun laws.

The National Socialists disarmed the people they planned to destroy. It’s not hard to figure out why; they didn’t want their targets to be able to fight back. They allowed their political supporters to keep their weapons legally; this is not a relaxation of gun laws, in fact, it’s the reverse – It is selective enforcement of gun confiscation based on ideological loyalty.

Hilariously, leftists in the US when confronted with this fact double down on their gun control arguments. Instead of admitting their foolish error they will say: “Yes, the Nazis disarmed the Jews and others, but having guns would have made no difference in saving their lives…” And there you have it – The most backwards circular logic of all time. If Jews and others owning guns was not a deterrent to their slaughter, then why would the Nazis bother disarming them in the first place? Leftists have no answer to this question.

They are trying to argue against facts using a hypothetical; really, how would they know? Maybe owning guns might have saved the lives of millions of people the Nazis had deemed enemies of the state? Maybe it would have acted as a deterrent to the Holocaust? Maybe the Nazis would have been afraid to expand tyranny into Europe if they had to worry about their own population fighting back and disrupting their momentum? Maybe, WWII would have never happened? We could argue hypotheticals all day long…

What we do know for certain is that disarmament is ALWAYS one of the first steps by totalitarians in cementing their control of a population, and this is most common among the biggest political killers in modern history – And no, it’s not the Nazis; it’s the communists.

While a debate rages over the exact number of deaths attributed to communist governments, it is estimated that they are responsible for approximately 65 million to 100 million murders over the course of the last century, a genocide beyond anything history has ever seen before. These deaths were caused by direct means, such as shooting dissidents, or indirect means, such as imprisoning dissidents until they died from complications, or stealing food supplies from rural communities and allowing them to starve en masse.

Stalin in particular declared any theft of state property a crime punishable by death. He then at the same time declared that all production including food production was state property. So, if you eat food that was not granted to you by the state, you are stealing, and could therefore be shot. See how that works?

None of this would have been possible without gun control and confiscation laws put in place before the larger genocide was enacted. In 1918 the Bolsheviks and the Council of the People’s Commissar mandated that Russian citizens turn in their firearms under penalty of prosecution. Gun restrictions and penalties were increased over the years until WWII, when the Soviets were loath to arm their own population in response to Nazi invasion. In fact, the ease by which the Nazi army rolled through the Eastern front was partly due to the disarmament of the Russian population.

Communist governments only allow people to have firearms in their hands when they are fighting against the ideological and foreign foes of the regime. You are allowed to be cannon fodder for the elites, you are not allowed the means to defend yourself from those same elites.

Americans (primarily conservative Americans) have an in-depth understanding of this dynamic. While leftists are more concerned with rewriting history to their benefit, we are more concerned with learning from it. We know where gun control leads, and so did the Founding Fathers of our nation, which is why they codified gun ownership into the US constitution as an inalienable right under the 2nd Amendment. Here are the reasons why leftists, globalists and communists will NEVER be able to disarm the American population as they have done in previous nations…

We Know The History Of Gun Control

As noted above, we have studied the history of tyrants. There is no tyranny that has ever existed that did not try to disarm the population, or disarm the portion of the population the government intended to enslave or destroy. Leftists froth at the mouth trying to re-imagine history in a way that circumvents or ignores the tyranny issue when it comes to gun control. They are wasting their time.

They are never going to convince conservatives and moderates that gun confiscation was not a key step in the establishment of various tyrannies in modern history. All the mental gymnastics and manipulation, all the energy they spend trying to rationalize away genocide as somehow “inevitable” regardless of gun rights – it’s all for nothing. We are far smarter than they are. We are well versed in the legacy of gun control, and this makes their tactics useless.

We Understand Incrementalism – We Know All The Tricks

The level of dishonesty involved in gun control advocacy is astonishing. Leftists often use lies as a means to gain political capital; if they were completely honest about their intentions they would not receive much support from the general population for their efforts. Gun grabbers are very careful in most cases to use phrases like “common sense” when talking about new restrictions. They try to refrain from admitting what they really want is complete disarmament, at least, they tried until recently.

Incrementalism was the name of the game for decades, but in the past year they are going for broke. Some leftist politicians are openly admitting their true goals, because frankly the song and dance wasn’t working and they know conservatives aren’t going to allow any further encroachment on their rights.

I find it interesting that leftists are so astonished at our refusal to compromise on any further gun restrictions. They seem to think that any new mass shooting buys them new gun control capital. Maybe that’s how things used to work, but not any longer. Frankly, these shootings are irrelevant to our gun rights. Punishing everyone for the crimes of a handful is no longer acceptable to conservatives because we know that if we give gun control advocates an inch, they will take a mile.

Kamala Harris, now Vice President of the US, is one of the many Democrats openly seeking mandatory government buybacks of firearms and the dismantling of gun rights. However, it was Beto O’Rourke who really took the mask off when it came to the true intentions of gun grabbers.  Stating that “hell yes” the Dems are going to take away our AR-15s.

Joe Biden is famous for his statements admonishing military grade weapons in civilian hands and telling people that a “double barreled shotgun” is “superior” to the AR-15 for home defense. Obviously, a two shot weapon with a limited effective range of around 50 yards or less makes it very difficult to fight back against government tyranny. And, we all know that eventually even the shotguns would be taken away.

Biden’s specific focus, though, seems to be Red Flag gun laws, which allow authorities to confiscate firearms from people not involved in criminal activity, and this is based on hearsay testimony and without due process. Criteria includes any “suspicion of mental illness”, which is completely subjective. Conservatives have been accused of mental illness because they oppose Covid lockdowns, they question vaccine safety, they question the legitimacy of Global Warming fear mongering in the media, etc. ANYTHING could be labeled a mental illness by the state and therefore make a person susceptible to Red Flag confiscation.

This is targeted incrementalism and slective enforcement of gun control, much like that used by the Nazis. Red Flag laws allow the government to attack political and ideological opponents one at a time and disarm them, just as the Nazis selectively targeted their political opponents for disarmament. We know where all of this is going. We’ve seen it before.

BLM Race Riots

Despite the false claims of the mainstream media, we have seen first hand the destruction and insanity perpetrated by Marxist groups like Black Lives Matter. They are anything but “peaceful”, they are dangerous in their lack of intelligence and logic, and their social justice ideology is a cancer that infects and debilitates every vital organ of Western civilization.

In his movie ‘Platoon’, Oliver Stone’s character Chris Taylor says: “Hell is the impossibility of reason”. If this doesn’t describe the social justice movement today then I don’t know what does.

If a group of people is determined to make every single tragedy about racism and “white supremacy” despite all facts to the contrary, and then use those tragedies as an excuse for mass violence, then they are zealots, and zealots cannot be reasoned with. They are cultists with a mission, and they will do anything to accomplish that mission.

In this case, the mission of Marxists within BLM and the globalist foundations that fund them (like Ford Foundation and Open Society Foundation) is to destroy the very fabric of America, “burn it to the ground”, and then rebuild it into an unrecognizable husk devoid of principles or freedom.

Yeah, I don’t think conservative gun owners are going to go along with that. Burning down their own neighborhoods is one thing, but BLM activists have tried to spread beyond the borders of their own garbage cities in the past, and we aren’t going to allow them to act violently. For this reason alone, conservatives will never disarm.

The Control Agenda Is Out In The Open

There is a reason why leftists and globalists are so obsessed with taking away combat ready firearms from Americans, and it’s not about “saving lives”. These weapons act as a deterrent to full blown tyranny. As long as they exist, our ability to take back our other rights and freedoms exists.

If anything has convinced gun owners of the need for firearms, it has been the past year of pandemic fear mongering. What have we learned so far? Well, we are now fully aware of the “Great Reset” agenda, which has been promoted nonstop by the World Economic Forum and various political leaders. This agenda calls for years of economic lockdowns and medical mandates, forced vaccination, medical passports without which a person might be completely removed from the economy, a new cashless society, a shared economy in which you will “own nothing and like it”.

The medical or vaccine “passports” are particularly disconcerting. For one, governments don’t necessarily have to enforce them right away. Rather, they can simply allow their corporate partners to demand said passports from anyone that wants to get a job or shop in their stores. Once this system is ingrained into the consumer world, governments can then step in and make passports a legal requirement. Eventually, the passports give the establishment the ability to control and micro-manage every aspect of every individual life. Without compliance to every whim, the technocrats can easily void your passport, and then you die from poverty and starvation.

This would be impossible to do in a country where a majority of the population is armed. I think it’s safe to say most Americans do not want to live in the dystopian world that the globalists at the WEF envision, and we will fight to ensure it does not happen.

Tyranny Is Enforced By Armed Men On The Ground

My favorite mantra of gun grabbers is the claim that “Your AR-15 isn’t going to help you against an Abrams tank or a predator drone”. These people don’t understand how totalitarian systems function. In order to control a population, you have to have loyal troops on the ground…everywhere. Not only that, but you also need loyal civilians, a large percentage of the population, to act as your eyes and ears and sometimes brute force. And finally, you need anyone who might oppose you to be afraid to take action to defend themselves. You need them docile and passive.

There are a lot of moving parts to tyranny, and tanks and planes are secondary to basic manpower. And where there are troops and others enforcing tyranny, there are numerous targets. Where there are firearms, there is a means to eliminate a tyrant at the top of the pyramid with a single well placed bullet. Furthermore, you don’t need armored vehicles and stealth jets to fight tyranny; what you need is a good firearm to remove the people driving and flying those machines. A smart rebel might even take those weapons for his own arsenal in the process.

A lot of gun owners are also military veterans, and they have seen how things played out in places like Afghanistan, where all the military might in the world was ineffective against tribesman with old AK-47s and roadside IEDs. It’s about force of will along with minimal necessary firearms. Guerrilla wars are not fought in terms of battles, they are fought in terms of attrition. Americans understand this better than most.

For all these reasons and more the gun grabber ethos is essentially pointless. They can have total dominance in the federal government, they could have every state government on their side and pass hundreds of laws and executive orders making every gun owner a criminal, and it still would not matter. We will not budge, we would rather fight.

Elitists and leftists just don’t seem to get it. Maybe it’s the way their brains work. Maybe they just can’t comprehend the idea that some people will not compromise certain freedoms no matter the cost. They think everyone has a limit; that everyone has a price. They think anyone can be bought, or that anyone can be leveraged into submission. The truth is, many of us can’t. Some of us have no price, and we cannot be compelled to comply.

We are the people that keep freedom alive, and totalitarians are terrified of us; gun grabbing is merely a natural extension of their fear and doubt. Wherever an oligarchy is seeking to disarm the population this is a sure sign they are about to grasp for even more control, and they are afraid that the population might dethrone them. And honestly, they should be afraid.

There’s a darned good reason why the 2nd immediately follows the 1st; without the 2nd, the 1st is merely a quaint idea. The Founding Fathers did not defeat the British/Elitists with the 1st Amendment; they shot them, with guns. Unless one can is prepared to accept a life of enslavement, one must defend the 2nd as if one’s life depended on it, because it most certainly does.

    Hello, Brandon
Another spot-on analysis! As a Vietnam combat veteran, I’ve been saying much the same thing for a long time.

Three more thoughts on the matter:

    1. “To conquer a nation, first disarm its citizens.” -Adolf Hitler

    2. Moscow fell during WW I not from a lack of weapons to defend it, but from the lying guile of the Reds. Ten thousand Reds took Moscow and were opposed only by some few hundreds of officer cadets and their instructors. Even then the battle was fierce and losses high. However, in the city alone, at that time, lived over 30,000 military officers (both active and retired), all with their own issued weapons and ammunition, plus tens of thousands of other citizens who were armed. The Soviets promised to leave them all alone if they did not intervene. They did not and for that were asked afterwards to come register themselves and their weapons — where they were promptly shot. Do not be fooled by a belief that progressives, leftists hate guns. Oh, no, they do not. What they hate is guns in the hands of those who are not marching in lock step of their ideology. They hate guns in the hands of those who think for themselves and do not obey without question. They hate guns in those whom they have slated for a bullet to the back of the ear. There are few things to admire about the socialist, bankrupt and culturally degenerating USA, but at least so far, one thing remains: the right to bear arms and use deadly force to defend one’s self and possessions. -Russian blogger Stanislav Mishin

    3. “… I always talk about how one of the main incentives for my running again was continuing Secret Service protection to have men with guns around at all times…” -Barack Obama to Barbara Walters, in an interview on Nightline, aired Dec 26, 2012

A quick examination of what robust gun ownership didn’t prevent, throughout America’s recent history. The Great Depression. Entry into WWII. The 60’s sex/drug culture. The Vietnam War. The decoupling of the dollar to gold. Roe V. Wade. The hollowing out of the manufacturing base. Iraq I. 9.11. Iraq II. Afghanistan. 2008 crisis. Syria. Raging/unsustainable national debt. Attack on heterosexual males. Attack on the nuclear family. The welfare state. The robust surveillance state. The unchecked government communication monitoring. Social engineering. Disappearing God from the public square. Infrastructure decline. Rising violent crime. The demonization of white folk. Relentless America hating. Transgenderism. Non-binary gender. Mask mandates. Stay at home orders. Curfews. Closure of essential businesses. Fining of said businesses for non compliance. Mandatory C19 testing. Mandatory temperature checks. Limits on gatherings. “Vaccines”. And soon, it would seem, “vaccine” passports.

What’s your point, you silly Gringo?! My point is that you don’t need to take all the guns away in order to subdue the American public and turn the county into the old Soviet bloc. What you need is a methodical, sustained, long term and thoroughly sinister plan that’s coupled with a mostly compliant populous, in order to weaken a nation to collapse. Just look at what’s been done in less than 100 years in this country. All while many millions of law abiding Americans continue to own guns.

Empires come and go. Let’s not be so naive or arrogant to think that America is any different.

Very good points and none should be ignored. The long history of US (western elitist) imperialism vs. the beautiful and sound intention of America have, one could argue, been at odds since the beginning.
The strategy and planning of covert warfare against a free society through incremental tactics over a long term period has thus far proven itself successful. When the majority never even think that their under attack and no enemies are easily identifiable, and the current generations are far enough removed from the actions of past tyranny and the sacrifices it took to defeat it, we again find ourselves at the end of an empire, who’s armed and aware citizens are the last roadblock to global fascist tyranny.
This seemingly inevitable cycle of empire and the unveiling of the tyrants, IMO, gives Liberty another chance to thrive. It has become our responsibility to re-make this great country, we have the history, we have the guidelines and I believe there are enough of us with the will and resolve to get it done. The rebel alliance shall stand in defiance!

Ah, the classic nihilist argument; I’ve heard it thousands of times and rings just as false now as it did 15 years ago. You must have missed Bundy Ranch and the hundreds of armed protests in the US over the course of the past decade. You really think that rebellion happens all at once? It’s unfortunate that I have to educate you on this since it should be obvious, but rebellions happen in stages over time. The founding fathers endured numerous trespasses before they actually committed to the revolution, and guess what finally triggered it? Yep, disarmament. Eventually the elites will come for your guns because they know they will cross the line by which the public will no longer compromise and they need to make sure you can’t fight back. To say this line doesn’t exist is ignorant; it always has and it always will. This is why EVERY SINGLE TYRANNY seeks disarmament. PERIOD.

If you expect conservative Americans to respond to every single dispute with combat, though, then you don’t understand conservative Americans. We are going to try to resolve conflicts without killing whenever possible, because that’s what good people do. However, now we are at an impasse, and we will not be budging any further, as has been made clear by the conservative response to the lockdowns, medical passports and new gun laws. Take note that the establishment has been RUSHING out the Reset agenda as fast as possible because they know that incrementalism is no longer going to work.

I don’t see ANY conservative Americans going along with these oppressive tactics, I see the reverse. Numerous Red states are now in defiance, and gun owners are backing them. Please stop with the overused and debunked argument that just because a revolution hasn’t happened yet it is never coming. America is VERY different; we are the only society left that has the means and the numbers to fight back. Pray that we are successful so that you might have freedom again one day.

Alter having control of the House of Reps for 40 odd years, what was the burning issue that snatched it from the grasp of the dimwitcrats in 1994? If you said “coming after our guns” then move to the head of the class.

Nearly half the country is ready to fight at this stage, and maybe half of them won’t be trained or physically able, but don’t underestimate grandma and grandpa conservative when some agency comes to the door demanding to search for guns. I think those agents will suddenly wish they had made different career choices.

@Brandon, what do you make of the current demonizing of police by the government? So they can nationalize police? “the only way to make sure police behave is to bring them under federal control”

    • Avatar photo
Brandon Smith April 23, 2021 at 3:05 pm

I think the goal is to get police to leave their jobs. It’s clear that after the Chauvin trial (though I disagree with the knee to the neck or lower back tactic), that a cop could be charged with murder if the suspect dies on his watch, even if the death had nothing to do with him/her or the if the shooting was justified, and he could be convicted because of mob threats and jury intimidation. This might scare off the bad cops, but it’s like using a chainsaw instead of a scalpel to remove a tumor. A lot of law enforcement precincts are not going to be able to find people to fill positions. No one will want the job.

There are only two options at this stage: Either communities start policing themselves with the militia, or each county ramps up funding for their sheriff’s departments. At least with sheriff’s they are voted in and voted out. However, I suspect the goal of the establishment is to create chaos with a fast moving loss of law enforcement and a spike in national crime. Then Biden can swoop in before communities can adjust with calls for National Guardsman to take on the role. So yes, basically it would be federalizing or nationalizing law enforcement. It won’t go over in conservative states, we won’t allow it. But in blue states the feds could gain ground.

      • vivian tzamis April 24, 2021 at 11:50 am

I assume the National Guard of each state is made up of locals
So if they take on the role of enforcers–they will still have to face the wrath of their neighbours
It gets trickier when they bring in outsiders–foreigners–who live on military bases
That’s why They boasted they have a military installation or project in every congressional district

      • A. Landemesser April 24, 2021 at 9:38 pm

Doubt it, even the bluest states contain many, many red counties are they aren’t going to kneel to Antifa/BLM. Virginia is an example, when the gov, started his gun controls 95% of the state told him to stick it where the sun don’t shine. NJ demanded the surrender of all magazines over ten rounds-zero turned in. NY states demanded the registration of all assault guns less than 12% complied.

The problem is that conservatives in those states tend to be more isolated and less organized. That said, I have long been a proponent of conservative counties nullifying the unconstitutional mandates of state governments. It’s not just about states, counties have to make a stand as well.

      • Gauntlet33 April 26, 2021 at 12:30 pm

Yup! I was predicting this almost a year ago the minute calls for “Defund the Police” started. I’ve never liked cops for various reasons I won’t go into here, but I’ve made the comment before and I’ll make it again that I would MUCH rather have a local police officer that lives in town who is subject to the people’s physical wrath if he/she oversteps policy than a federal goon that has no local connections and is basically a paid mercenary/assassin. And like someone else said elsewhere, you can rest assured that places like Beverly Hills will have law enforcement.

  • Hubbs April 23, 2021 at 11:36 am

It’s nearly impossible to understand what drives the leftists and their mindless ideologies, but the only thing I can figure out is politicians, government workers, and even active duty soldiers are collecting paychecks and pensions and are afraid of losing these and therefore toe the line. This spills over into the entitled masses who collect social security, Medicare benefits, SNAP and EBT payments. They’re afraid of losing these in this “capitalist” system, which is certainly not what we have presently, and seem to think that a communist system will somehow provide for them.

A major factor that determines the outcome will come from whether the dollar maintains any value. Once it becomes totally debauched Venezuela style, some of those on the dole may reconsider.

As long as the people have their simple pleasures, food, transportation, shelter, TV’s and other entertainment, the long list of events cited above by Jorge Gringo will happen. But as Catherine Austin Fitts said, the people don’t realize they’re building their own prison.

Leftists are quick to accept slavery because for whatever reason they never learned independence and self reliance. Maybe they never wanted to. Some people are born weak, and some people are born strong. Jorge’s nihilism only applies to them, not to conservatives and gun owners, who have been fighting against oppressive government tooth and nail for many years. This is why I specified “conservatives and moderates” in my article when referring to Americans. Leftists are not Americans; they don’t want to be Americans. They want to be a part of some other society; one that is far more centralized and totalitarian.

Whoa. Hold on there Hubbs. “Entitled masses who collect social security, Medicare …..” what you speak of was taken from me by the Establishment (I am fighting against) since the age of 16, and continues now into my 70ies. I didn’t agree to them borrowing my income. ?Ya with? On another note I do see where you are coming from. A lot of ETB ers think the government who sends them their debt card is from a corporation. They don’t even realize it is you and me providing for them since we first started working. I pay for my rent and my EBTer and Section 8 neighbors too. ?yes those BLM folks (who actually think it BLM is about them) and others that call for retribution receive it on a monthly bases. I you and all others who work have been caring about their black lives forever. But they don’t realize it is their neighbors who are paying for them. I on the other hand are entitled to my SS ‘cause I worked my ass off. Give me back my money. Ya with? Just sayin’. ? I’ve prepared. I live way below my means. Always have. The 547. SS sent to me monthly can stop when ever. The?criminals took it from me for years. They’ll do it again. Just sayin. Best to ya. ?

      • Hubbs April 26, 2021 at 3:30 am

I don’t disagree with your points, especially the fact that you worked and paid into the system, just as I, now 66, did. I guess I am ultra libertarian and feel that this social security system should never have been allowed to come into existence in the first place, but that’s politics in the midst of a Great Depression. Same for LBJ’s Medicare. As a “retired” physician I think it encourages poor health habits, as people think that modern medicine and the government $ will take care of all our ailments, many of which we have acquired through out own laziness and willful ignorance, and some by outright disinformation, for example, the sugar industry and subsidies, when sugar is the gateway to obesity, probably one of the most fundamental health issues of western society. As sootch00 said it in his YT channel on what are the top five things you can do to prepare?, at the top of his list was: Get in shape, or in the best shape you can, given you circumstances.

  • Mr.BA April 23, 2021 at 3:39 pm

Brandon, from a governmental level we know red and blue team’s are both just 2 wings on the same bird. Any chance red states are being told to stay open by their handlers? Or are the likes of say a desantis truly on the right side of the fight?

Brandon Smith April 23, 2021 at 4:19 pm

The false paradigm at the state governor level might apply (it might not), but it’s not only up to the governor. The state legislature has ultimate say, along with the population. Frankly, Red state politicians have no choice; they live side-by-side with a majority conservative population and I don’t think they want to piss us off. Ultimately, the state will do what the people want it to, if people are organized. If a Republican governor betrays his constituency, he would probably have to leave the state just to avoid mass protests and retribution.

      • Gauntlet33 April 26, 2021 at 12:44 pm

I would say it’s a very murky issue. What I mean is that I hope De Santis of Florida is actually on the people’s side, but he did initially lock down the state in many ways, so I’m withholding my judgment pending his future actions.
        ..
Also, I’m in LA County in CA, and I would say that there’s tons of people here that curse when Barbara Ferrer or Gov. Newsom announce more restrictions, but then gladly wear the mask and call you out when you’re not wearing it and even ask you when you’re going to get the vaccine.
        ..
So my point is that it’s hard to know which governors are simply doing what their constituency are asking for, and which governors are doing as much as their populace will let them get away with. It might be that Florida said a strong “F” that to De Santis, and that Californians are pissed, but just not as loud about it, and are more tolerant. But just remember that a good 30-40% of Californians vote Conservative/Republican, so once sentiment changes and their businesses suffer even more, the pendulum can start to shift the other way.

“Hilariously, leftists in the US when confronted with this fact double down on their gun control arguments. Instead of admitting their foolish error they will say: “Yes, the Nazis disarmed the Jews and others, but having guns would have made no difference in saving their lives…”
    No difference you Leftists say?!?!?!?

Yes, funny how leftists ignore examples like the Defiance groups and other guerrillas that helped to undermine the Nazi advance. Are their contributions to the fight meaningless just because they were civilians? The leftist argument is essentially that you are not capable of self defense unless you are sanctioned by the state. It’s a moronic argument, but it’s also revealing; they are statists to the core, they are no better than fascists. And, all while pretending they are “revolutionaries”. They are a joke.

  • Gauntlet33 April 23, 2021 at 4:50 pm

“Elitists and leftists just don’t seem to get it. Some of us have no price, and we cannot be compelled to comply.”
    ..
I absolutely love this paragraph. Very encouraging! What those F@#$ers don’t get is that freedom will not die because it’s perhaps the purest form of happiness, as Patriots would rather die than live as slaves to their system. Further, they will likely internally have people who they piss off and who fight them from within. Anyway, someone on ZH (hypothetically) said that a good plan would be to take out a bunch of them when they’re all together at one of their Davos meetings and I agree.

While these motives are true for the elites and powerful on the left, I don’t think it is that complex for the average Democrat voter. The minions support a gun-grab for two simple reasons:
    1. They are told to. And they support/oppose whatever they are ordered to support/oppose. Even if that defies logic or changes daily.
    2. They know it would piss off people they hate (you & me). Like we see with other issues, “progressive” citizens will happily destroy everything around them if they think it would piss off people they hate.

Brandon Smith April 24, 2021 at 4:22 am

I agree they are sheep, but it goes beyond that. I think average hardcore leftists are control freaks, mostly because they are afraid. They are dependent people, always relying on the system as their crutch and terrified of having to deal with any problem alone. They hate the authorities, but they are the first to call the authorities when there is any sign of trouble. Many of them had helicopter parents that protected them and their fragile feelings from stress no matter how minor. They also hide within the mob for protection. They would never fight alone. In fact, watch any street brawl during a BLM or Antifa protest and you will always see leftists in groups of three or more trying to isolate a single person to attack them. They are inherent cowards; and this leads them to embrace the “safety” of collectivism. It greatly angers them that conservatives are independent and armed, because guns are the great equalizer against the mob. They know many of us are far better trained and have the will fight alone if we have to. They all have a Utopian fantasy stuck in their little brains; they dream of a world of progressive perfection, a world without stress or responsibility or discomfort or merit, because they don’t have a clue how to survive in a world based on the rules of the jungle. They think everyone should share their fears, as well as their Utopian dream. If you don’t, then you are their enemy. You are killing their dream simply because you exist. Kind of like how the globalists claim you are “killing the planet” just by existing.

    Brandon,

Truly bang on target totally inspiring piece of work. I especially love the Platoon quote! I had forgotten that one. Thumbs up.

Once you understand human nature you see that leftists are basically adult people who have never grown up.

    What is growing up?

Marrying for life and having children.

Being a dedicated spouse and parent basically forces you to put other people before yourself. When this happens your selfishness becomes selflessness and any crazy societal problems that you may have contributed to when stupid and single , drug use, vandalism, violence all disappear. For example when was the last time a married couple went to jail for a drive by shooting?

The family is the basic unit of civilization and all just laws property rights, divorce laws, etc that our Roman forefather’s were geniuses at creating exist almost solely to protect the family unit.

Scratch every leftist and you will find a person who is either too ugly to find a spouse or a person who is so mentally and emotionally abused from being in a broken single mother family that they truly resent the rest of us normal sane and civil happy family people.

I always think about Stephen King the writer. The dude is so smart and his stories or so great why the hell does he lean left? Its because his father abandoned thier family and they were forced to be on welfare. If this happens to you you have two choices either admit that your parents/ family completely sucked which is emotionally shameful and painful or accept the easy yet completely false leftist lie that welfare is somehow AOK.

He should have went with the first choice. Had he just said. My father was such a piece of garbage we actually had to beg to survive all of that shame would have been dumped where it belongs.

The left like any other gang of criminals like the Bloods offer the broken a new false family.

I truly think the way to win is to keep spreading out further and further into the suburbs like a retreating army. retreat is an excellent tactic in defending an invasion as the invader is forced to spend resources trying seek a fight you keep delaying by backing up. the Turks did this to the invading greeks in the greco Turk war of 1919. They just kept backing up and consolidating thier forces until the greeks were thinned out and supplies got scarce. then they attacked the weakened greek forces and pushed them into the sea.

“Before a standing army can rule, the people must be disarmed, as they are in almost every country in Europe. The supreme power in America cannot enforce unjust laws by the sword; because the whole body of the people are armed, and constitute a force superior to any band of regular troops.”
    – Noah Webster, An Examination of the Leading Principles of the Federal Constitution, October 10, 1787

  • vivian tzamis April 24, 2021 at 11:26 am

Australia was disarmed less than 2 weeks after a fake mass shooting in Port Arthur 1996
The shooter came from a place called New Town–just like Sandy Hook–coincidence?
In Australia we have the Shooters, Fishers & farmers Party
This week is the 25th anniv of the gun grab and they want to reverse the gun ban
But we dont need guns to fight tyranny
There was a town in Latin America ruled by mafia
When the people had had enough–they didnt go after the Drug Lords in their high-security compounds–they went after the Mafia minions who lived among them
Got rid of the collaborators–the enforcers

    • Avatar photo
Brandon Smith April 24, 2021 at 1:08 pm

They did that by acquiring illegal guns, and then the government tried to punish them for it…there’s no way to defeat tyranny without firearms.

      • vivian tzamis April 25, 2021 at 8:55 am

My way of thinking is Civil Disobedience
Becos while a few people will Stand their Ground with guns–the majority of the population will be more inclined to less violent–more subtle methods–Obstruction–Sabotage
Making the lives of the Collaborators living among us impossible–at least very uncomfortable
Without the Collaborator Class– they cant enforce their Plans
Dont discount those of us without guns–we will still fight fight fight

I’m with Brandon on this and agree that guns are necessary, but I’m listening if you have concrete examples of obstruction, sabotage, etc. Also, the theory behind the Cold War was that neither side will fire the first ICBM because the other side can do the same. Can’t dispute that logic, and I think it applies to guns likewise making good neighbors.

Yes, along with legislation blocking any use of vaccine passports by government offices or corporations (which they also passed in Montana and a few other states). But, beware, the Feds under Biden will definitely try to blackmail red states by cutting off stimulus money and funding. Just because the state government is taking a stand does not mean we get to stay at home and sit on the couch. People need to push for local organization to fight against any future lockdowns or gun confiscation.

  • rlp April 24, 2021 at 6:38 pm

You frame the debate as right versus left which is exactly what the elites want. Both the right and left use the debate to gather more votes. However, as the anger continues to build within us Americans eventually the elite right will through our gun rights under the bus. The focus needs to be on our struggle against the elites, both right and left.

    • Avatar photo
Brandon Smith April 24, 2021 at 6:56 pm

This is a silly argument for a number of reasons. For one, you don’t seem to understand what the false left/right paradigm actually means. It DOES NOT mean that there is no left or right spectrum in American society. The left and right are VERY REAL at the bottom of the pyramid, and the political left is a poison on American civilization for a number of reasons. They are selfish, narcissistic, fearful, dependent, power hungry collectivists. They are almost as big a problem as the global elites are. To ignore their existence or pretend they are not a threat is foolish, to say the least.

At the top of the pyramid, the left/right paradigm is indeed theater, but the elites did not create it. It exists in the normal population regardless of the existence or influence of the elites. This is what people like you don’t grasp. The elites merely exploit the existing division, and they exploit useful idiots on the left to do their bidding. There are no conservative globalists. There are no globalists on the right. They DON’T EXIST. The two philosophies are mutually exclusive; you cannot have one and the other in the same place at the same time. A politician might claim to be Republican, but that does not mean he/she is conservative.

The struggle is not only against the globalists, the struggle is against their supporters and lackeys as well. Please stop misrepresenting the left/right paradigm as if it does not exist. This is simply nonsense and it is a misconception among libertarians that needs to finally die.

It is the last sentence, about the wannabe tyrants being afraid, that sums up the events of January 6th. The message was quite clear, and if they had half a brain among them all, they would be treading very lightly with their “agenda.” But no, they think they are safe behind their fences and praetorian guard in D.C. They are so stupid and ignorant they will be shocked when those troops get supplied with live ammo and turn their guns inward.

  • Greg B. April 25, 2021 at 8:35 am

Another reason disarmament will never succeed is that most of the personnel leftists want to use to disarm the populace, law enforcement and military, simply aren’t going to go along with it. Even the ones that do support disarmament aren’t going to be stupid enough to try and enforce it, at least not in red states, counties and cities.

I also find it funny how some keyboard commandos try to claim the AR-15 isn’t suited for military usage due to it being semi-automatic only. As far as I’m concerned they’re in the same lot as the “what-good-is-a-rifle-against-tanks-and-drones” crowd even if they are conservative.

Yes, those are the people that have never actually fired a weapon before and the extent of their knowledge comes from Call Of Duty video games. Running through a mag of ammo in a second when your supplies are limited and being unable to aim accurately is not an advantage.

Hi Brandon, thank you for your great work over the years! As you said the populace is disarmed in many parts of the world. However, in many countries in e.g. the EU you can still get air rifles, crossbows and other defense products. Any recommendations on this? If you can get your hands on a long range air rifle, I suggest buying one. They can be used to hunt, for self defense, and I’ve seen videos of people shooting them at 1000 yards. And, even better, no registration required and you can buy your own air compressor to refill the air tanks. Another thing to consider is that night vision scopes for varmint hunting are widely available in many parts of Europe and the UK, so take advantage while they are still on the market.

95% of gun murders are committed with handguns, most of them illegally owned. If the hypocrites cared about gun violence they’d crack down on illegal handguns too. Instead they are reducing the penalties for gun crimes. They only care about legal gun ownership, with emphasis on rifles. How come nobody is calling them on this discrepancy?
